Had it not been for Viktor Axelsen, Lakshya Sen would probably have won the Olympic Games 2024. We have to realize that Viktor Axelsen is to badminton what Alexander Karelin was to wrestling and Mike Tyson was to boxing. Axelsen is simply in league of his own!
What. Axelson isnt close to lin dan or LCW, he consistently lost to them both. They were the greats and the rightful "GOATs" of badminton. Axelsen is certainly the best player at the moment, but not even close to being in the "Mike Tyson of Badminton" conversation
calling out something weird about how most of the comments are about Axelsen even though Lakshya won. I get y'all like Axel but this is Lakshyas moment and by not giving him the compliments he deserves y'all are robbing him of something he deserves as a good player
People need to realize how amazing Axelson is. 90+% of the all-time badminton greatest players were under 6 feet tall. Axelson is a giant playing a game that history proves is far easier IF u are under 6 feet tall. Victor is just amazing.
Alex forehand smash are un predictable and very strong either he plays cross court or straight shot so sen should have played cross court back hand to alex between short service line and nets.
Well nobody including Axelsen was thinking that he'd lose the third set after being 15-8 up and leading all the way to the end. But Sen didn't make any easy mistakes and Axelsen lent a helping hand.
Lakshe sen is the best and. Th toughest player of India. He could also win the semifinal in Paris Olympic 2024 But he became nervous. He is making a mistake ,he is suttling upward and you know axelson is a tall player, He smashes powerfully and Laksha has no any way to defend the smash😢😢😢😢😢😢😢.
In order to popularize badminton like tennis is enjoying, need to have more winners from western nations and nations from every continent, not just Asia. @8:31 what a sick backhand smash from Viktor. What a match. Congrats to Sen.
Sen has improved a lot from England Open. That final is very different from this match in 2024. However, Axelson is Axelson. Even with almost 10 years age difference he moves like water. Sadly there is only one winner.
Nah i dont think LS would've won anyways. He rarely adapts to his opponents strategy and uses the same playing style. Kunvulut Vitidsarn wouldve beaten him for the gold medal match anyways.
Laksya Sen was truly the best and toughest opponent Viktor faced in the olympics.

I wonder What would momota's legacy would be if he would not have gone through accident
@@sackofballls Axelsen beat Lin Dan 6 times and only lost 3.
@@redrabbit4yt Every badminton player have injuries. Momota was only out for 3 months, but he couldn't handle epedemic break.
@@HolgerDanske874lin dan was close to retirement but still an amazing record

In Olympics, lakshya could have won the semi final against him but he got nervous
💯💯
He will overcome this as it was his first Olympics that is still a good start

Sen didn't understand that each time he was putting the shuttle high up, Axelsen was finishing up by smashing it. Strategic mistake...

I wish this could have happened in Olympics as well... Very well played both the players!!!😍

He is top among all india shuttlers

Epic comeback🇮🇳❤
Axelson is well deserving for gold medal
Axelsen's experience really showed in the 2nd game. He read sen very well.
Is this after olympics or before ?
It's German Open 2022. There's no tournament yet after olympics
Both players played well. Congratulations Indian players.
Next time, Sen may shine by improving his deficiencies & surely turn into one of the best world shuttlers.
