  • Hopefully the Android 14 variants with 5G coming in Q4 support more bands. I'm willing to pay Bigme, just let me!
B71 is crucial for T-Mobile USA.
2G only come on. Android 11 in 2024?

B2 LTE is supported, which works on most networks, but is still only a single band. Good luck getting good data speeds indoors a Costco or other thick walled building, though calls should work fine.
Looks like it supports band 2 LTE despite specs saying it doesn’t. Better, but still not good enough for me to buy. I suppose it's OK USA cell reception and better than the Hisense A9, since b41 is gone.

I got my Hibreak to work and I live in Massachusetts. Surprisingly, the sim card from my Lightphone II (AT&T) works in my Hibreak and now it's a fully functional phone. Not sure about the service quality, I just put the sim card in a few hours ago. Initially, I tried the sim card from my smartphone (Metro by T-Mobile) and that failed, but this AT&T sim card is totally working in my hibreak.

Mind downloading cellmapper and reporting what bands it sees?

I just ordered this device, the color variant. We'll see how it works in France 😅

The USA is just so different from the rest of the world’s cell networks, hopefully it works fine in France!

Influencer reviews are coming in mid june, and they confirmed its Kaleido 2 ( plus ) screen.

I would have bought one to review if it had better bands… hopefully the android 14 variants in q4 fix this issue.
And do you have a source?

@@shiniyuxue4728 I asked their support as I wanted to cancel my order and they told me to wait for mid june as they are working to get review samples, they also confirmed that it should not be as bad as Kaleido 2 on tablets, but I am yet to see it in a review or a sample!

Not bad, but I’d prefer the screen a little bigger

Love your videos. I’m looking to get a phone size e reader. I was debating between the xiaomi palm, Hisense A9, Boox and now the Bigme. What do you think is most easiest to use one handed? Also, if you were to use one based off price per what it offers what would you go for?

Hard to judge the Bigme since it’s not out yet. I’ve heard good stuff about inkpalm and bad stuff about Palma. And a9 is the best but most expensive. It was cheaper when the a9 first came out.
Maybe just get a Kindle or Kobo instead?

@@eink-reviews I already use an Oasis but was looking for a portable option which I can carry around easily. Also, I have an Everand subscription which is why I’m looking for an android based device.

Maybe inkpalm, though I haven’t used one myself. Inkpalm is cheapest and lightest.
