My sister and I are 7 years apart and we are very close. My mom tried for years to have a second child (me). She gave up and then wound up becoming pregnant with me. You never know! But your kids can still become very close no matter the age gap! My sister is my protector and my biggest confidant. Even with our age gap we still grew up together and spent a lot of time together. My sister moved out when I was 11 but she always came over to spend time with me. Now even with us being adults and living on opposite coasts we are still closer than ever!

Yes! My Husband and I had Our 3rd Child when the first 2 were 5&7. Then Our 4th 15 months later. They are now 24,22,17&16. The 24 year old would so make over the younger two when they were babies. The oldest is our first son. The youngest is young man now. When they were 8years old and 1 years old, the oldest would read books to the youngest and helped put him down for naps. The 22 year Old Daughter like to play house with the two younger children and play school. Yes there was squabbling. Now the Two Adult Children take the Teenage Siblings for Ice Cream, Bowling, for Hikes and to Rivers and Lakes to hangout. Andrea you definitely will be in my prayers! I don’t believe the egg donor thing is from The Lord. Not Biblical.

Hang in there! That age gap isn’t always a bad thing either. My kids are 5 1/2 years apart and it teaches the older one compassion and caring for someone too not just a play buddy. My older one went from being more selfish to understanding how families care for one another and how to care for something smaller than him. My brothers were very close in age and hated playing with each other because they always liked the same things and it was always a competition. Just thought I’d share another view. Hi Andrea, I've been following your journey for a while now and admire your strength, honesty and ability to perservere despite continued disappointment . You are very disheartened now and my heart aches for you. My husband and myself suffered from infertility before he passed from cancer in 2017. I was devastated by his loss and also by my childlessness. Somehow information about embryo adoption came my way . Maybe it was divine intervention , who knows. I now have two little boys ages 4 and 21 months. I gave birth at age 50 and 52. It was a difficult road that included three early miscarriages along the way. I am a single mother and it is hard but my little ones are so beautiful and my heart is so overwhelmed by my love for them that it doesn't matter to me that they aren't mine biologically. I hope and pray that they will remain close as adults and support each other . What will be will be. I adopted my embryos from Spain. Institut Marques. Nowhere near as expensive as USA . I know you’ve had lots of comments already but my kids are almost 9, almost 7, and just turned 2. The 9 and 2 year old are sisters and they are soooo in love. I was really upset by the age gap as well but it has turned out to be the sweetest thing I’ve ever witnessed. Don’t let the age gap bring you down at all; I bet it turns out just as sweet.

IV just had my miracle 'youl never have another baby' third baby .. she's my absolute soul and my two other kids are 11 and seven and couldn't have a better relationship with her .. I feel like they are more involved because they are older, they can do more and they get more of a buzz from not only helping but playing with her and making her laugh or soothing her when she's upset .. don't get down or worry about age difference ❤❤️
Don’t give up mama, I have a 15 and 12 year old and they adore their 3 month old baby sister. Trust me they will play with their siblings no matter the age.

Aww I’m so sorry this wasn’t the month. I just want to offer some encouragement that my daughters are 5 years apart and my sons are 5 years apart because we had them every other and my boys are so close and the exact same with my girls. And my daughters are currently 11 and 6 and my sons are 8 and 3 (and 10 months but he’s not really playing yet). I can’t even explain what a great friendship they have (both the boys and girls). There is definitely no guarantee with siblings but they absolutely can have a beautiful relationship even with a “bigger” age gap. Also I have friends with kids that are super close and 8+ years apart so don’t give up just based on that. Offering lots of hugs.

She absolutely adores having a little sister even though the age gap is so big. They play amazing together so don’t let that thought bring you down. I also was a single mother with 2 kids for a good while when I split from my husband, and it was some of the best times of my life. I’m with someone else now and had a 3rd child and very happy. I'm so sorry this has been such a long road for you. I know how disappointing it can be. I did marry young and got pregnant easy at 25. I have a beautiful son but always wanted a house full. Divorce happened before my son was 2 and my dreams of more kids got pushed back. Still single and 3 years ago due to issues and uterine cancer in the family I needed a hysterectomy. It was like mourning a person, letting go of the dreams I had for more kids. Due to finances, other methods are out for me. It's such a hard call to say "I'm done". I pray the next round goes well for you and you get a second bundle of joy to love. Sending all the positive vibes your way!

I’m pregnant with my third, and my daughter is 9 and my son 7. At first I was nervous about the huge age gap but now I’m realizing how wonderful the difference in age will be. The kids will be more involved with this baby and they’ll remember this time. Don’t worry about the age difference ❤
That’s the exact same age gap as my sisters and I. I am the middle. It is a great age gap. We loved having a new baby sister but as we grew we became great friends.
Don't give up Andrea I still have faith that you can still have your miracle baby but at the end of the day, this is your decision and whatever you choose I hope that you can just be OK with it and at peace with it. Thank you for sharing your feelings about the age gap because I’m in the same situation and I have the same reservations, I so desperately want a second child but my son would turn 6 if I got pregnant now and what would that look like for their relationship, it puts doubt in me. I’m turning 44 next month and I need to realistically think how much longer can I take the mental strain of trying for another, I wish it was easy for us. The cost of anything medical is ridiculous and not a route we want to go down. I look forward to hearing what you do next cycle.

My girls are 4.5 years apart (honestly closer to 5 years) and they are so sweet together. Now my oldest is 7 and a half and I just found out I am pregnant with a third and I had the same thoughts as my siblings are spread in age and we weren’t close growing up but I’ll say now that we’re older me and my older sister who’s 7 years older than me are super close. Oh no Andrea don’t think like that love , my daughter is 14 and my son is 8, almost 9- daughter is 2.5 and I promise my son cares for her as if she is his, it’s incredible to watch , my older one doesn’t want to babysit of course but they cuddle all the time for Disney movies. Me and my oldest sister is 15 years apart I have another older sister that is 2 years older then me and I’m the closest to my oldest sister she is my best friend she helped raised me I understand if you don’t want to get into more debt and the possibility of it not working out as you may want and in this economy that is extremely realistic and stressful to think you are pouring so much money into a hope and dream when you could have been pouring it into your family and other things like vacations but when you step out on faith you have to take a risk…..I myself personally stepped out on faith and underwent brain surgery on my pitutary gland because my prolactin levels were high and it stopped me from ovulating my brain and body is now healed and I’m just praying every month my body does what I begged it not to do when I was a teenager and in my early 20s with nothing to rub together but 2 pennies I pray you and every woman trying gets what they pray for and if you are only to be blessed with your daughter give her so much love that she drowns in it because she is here healthy and beautiful

Andrea, as a little girl, my dream was to get married and have 6 children. Life didn’t work out like that. I wanted to marry the right person and I did. We’ve been married almost 30 years. We have one son together. I look back with no regrets because although we didn’t fill the home with children, we filled our home with love and respect. Our son grew up in a stable home with parents who created and keep a happy home environment included a half sister who is 6 years older than our son. (Husband was divorced when I met him). Your Hannah is lucky to have parents who love each other, not every child gets that type of childhood. She’s a lucky girl. I hope you get pregnant next month, we are praying for you ❤
Those digital tests don’t always work, I wanted a momento when I first found out I was pregnant and it said not pregnant and I was like omg omg. Luckily Dr reconfirmed my pregnancy again. Just gave birth to a baby boy!!
Hi Andrea! If you want another child added to your family, you should go for it. I wouldn’t worry about whether the kids would be playing with one another or not. I know siblings close in age that never cared to be around one another. I noticed you were really hard on yourself this video. It saddened me because I know each month you give it 110%. No matter what, everything always works out the way it is supposed to ❤️
I just want to ask because I’m not sure if you answered before but is it possible to get bloodwork done the day you see the faintest line? Or would it not be able to detect hcg?

I thought I’d be like my mum and oldest sister , a young mum but nope never happened. Sadly I’ve had multiple losses but never made it to full term .but also with the siblings thing I have 3 and when my younger brother was born I was 5 and I loved him so much , still do ! I know everyone and all children are different but it isn’t that bad as people think it is with age gaps . Is there anybody you can talk to about ur ttc journey to help with emotional rollercoaster of it ? As it is hard and I want you to feel supported ❤
You would be surprised! The wider age gaps can work too!! I am an only child...and l am ok. But adult life has definitely been very lonely. I have 4 children. 11...9...6 and 4. The 9 and the 4 year old are great together!!!! The gap is actually pretty good!!!! I want...one more. Oh miss Andrea. Life is...something else. On to next cycle for me too.... Andrea don't give up hope, me and my sister were 5 years apart and we loved eachother as kids heck when my mom found out that I was most likely a girl my sister wanted me to have the same name. It did happen as adults we kindof separated a bit due to life and my sister getting married and having kids and her own friends, but I still love my sister and love spending time with my nephews and her when I can, which it is harder for me though since i have a disability too which is why we dont see eachother much. Also yes I feel your disappointment I'm only 26 and i should be in my prime but I'm finding it difficult to get pregnant dispite testing and tracking and everything else so don't let your age fool you. Each month i get negative tests and i think to myself how can my brother and sister have kids like they did but i cant. So i remember that each new cycle is a new opertunity. My man aka boyfriend which he was my sperm donor only at first, is 38 actually which me and him have said we don't want to get married until we know for certain it's going to work out because if there's a kid involved we rather be friends then hate eachother. Anyway do not give up I know it's going to happen for you sooner or later. Your face and smile helps give me hope for each new cycle of mine. I hope you have an awesome day and awesome week. Don’t discourage you Andrea ❤ it’s don’t tell you you’re not pregnant till you don’t have your period i don’t know why these early tests exist first i have 3 kids all of them i tested when period wasn’t there about 13 18 and 21 days past ovulation hormones start after 8-13 days after ovulation and can take till 12 days after this to show on a test my last third one i never been able to test urine tesr i got a this time my period and the pregnancy was discovered after an appointment at 13 weeks pregnant she was my miracle one too not expected at all and we confirmed it with a blood test and a scan im trying right now at 44 with my boyfriend my fourth but he’s first it’s not easy i had 3 weeks lates period on may they discovered a cyst that broke my period came a 48 cycle didn’t had these cycles ever always 24-33 and my hormones test blood don’t show that im on peri ménopause the cycle after was a 33 days period was explained at 28 days 3 days late a very very faint line but period came July 26 very low i didn’t tested again but i have breast tenderness nausea and i think i don’t make ovulation test at all i think i just ovulated later then expected and it can be anniversarie period so we chose after 6 months soon to take a break with a sterilet august 15 so i will had bo choice to take a test before do i hope baby is there before this appointment but i don’t also expect anything im to ovuled if there’s nothing already cause i don’t want to know august 8 but my ovaries run so we don’t know so we will try from tomorrow day 9 after period where fertilizer window start so will see take the chance there’s nothing and keep trying so well be fixed august 15 by a blood test if im pregnant this cycle or pregnant from previous cycle of july otherwise we’ll take a break good luck Andrea it’s hard but tell you you have a beautiful healthy girl i have 2 healthy one 19-17 our third sadly my miracle was born 13 years ago sleeping so i understand your mood since this time i want a fourth one it’s ending by a divorce last year and now im trying with my new boyfriend so will see will be he’s first but he knows i will probably not be able sad for him but he accent the situation don’t want one absolutely on my side i already have too so sad but that’s life ❤

Yes! My Husband and I had Our 3rd Child when the first 2 were 5&7. Then Our 4th 15 months later. They are now 24,22,17&16. The 24 year old would so make over the younger two when they were babies. The oldest is our first son. The youngest is young man now. When they were 8years old and 1 years old, the oldest would read books to the youngest and helped put him down for naps. The 22 year Old Daughter like to play house with the two younger children and play school. Yes there was squabbling. Now the Two Adult Children take the Teenage Siblings for Ice Cream, Bowling, for Hikes and to Rivers and Lakes to hangout.

I have 4 kids between oldest and youngest theres a 10 year gap, they adore each other.
You absolutely know in your gut whay you want to do and you just need to trust yourself.

Hang in there! That age gap isn’t always a bad thing either. My kids are 5 1/2 years apart and it teaches the older one compassion and caring for someone too not just a play buddy. My older one went from being more selfish to understanding how families care for one another and how to care for something smaller than him. My brothers were very close in age and hated playing with each other because they always liked the same things and it was always a competition. Just thought I’d share another view. I’m praying for you and hope nothing but the best for you whatever your plan may be.
Hi Andrea, I've been following your journey for a while now and admire your strength, honesty and ability to perservere despite continued disappointment . You are very disheartened now and my heart aches for you.
My husband and myself suffered from infertility before he passed from cancer in 2017. I was devastated by his loss and also by my childlessness. Somehow information about embryo adoption came my way . Maybe it was divine intervention , who knows.
I now have two little boys ages 4 and 21 months. I gave birth at age 50 and 52. It was a difficult road that included three early miscarriages along the way. I am a single mother and it is hard but my little ones are so beautiful and my heart is so overwhelmed by my love for them that it doesn't matter to me that they aren't mine biologically. I hope and pray that they will remain close as adults and support each other . What will be will be. I adopted my embryos from Spain. Institut Marques. Nowhere near as expensive as USA .

IV just had my miracle 'youl never have another baby' third baby .. she's my absolute soul and my two other kids are 11 and seven and couldn't have a better relationship with her .. I feel like they are more involved because they are older, they can do more and they get more of a buzz from not only helping but playing with her and making her laugh or soothing her when she's upset .. don't get down or worry about age difference ❤❤️
Don’t give up mama, I have a 15 and 12 year old and they adore their 3 month old baby sister. Trust me they will play with their siblings no matter the age.

Aww I’m so sorry this wasn’t the month. I just want to offer some encouragement that my daughters are 5 years apart and my sons are 5 years apart because we had them every other and my boys are so close and the exact same with my girls. And my daughters are currently 11 and 6 and my sons are 8 and 3 (and 10 months but he’s not really playing yet). I can’t even explain what a great friendship they have (both the boys and girls). There is definitely no guarantee with siblings but they absolutely can have a beautiful relationship even with a “bigger” age gap. Also I have friends with kids that are super close and 8+ years apart so don’t give up just based on that. Offering lots of hugs.

I'm 45 and my kids are 9, 4 and 9momths. Sibling relations can look one or the other way not just because of age. My oldest is more interested in the little one than our toddler. They play amazing together so don’t let that thought bring you down. I also was a single mother with 2 kids for a good while when I split from my husband, and it was some of the best times of my life. I’m with someone else now and had a 3rd child and very happy. Things work out and situations that may seem negative can always become positive!!

I'm so sorry this has been such a long road for you. I know how disappointing it can be. I did marry young and got pregnant easy at 25. I have a beautiful son but always wanted a house full. Divorce happened before my son was 2 and my dreams of more kids got pushed back. Still single and 3 years ago due to issues and uterine cancer in the family I needed a hysterectomy. It was like mourning a person, letting go of the dreams I had for more kids. Due to finances, other methods are out for me. It's such a hard call to say "I'm done". I pray the next round goes well for you and you get a second bundle of joy to love. Sending all the positive vibes your way!

I completely relate. I also married late in life and unfortunately IUI and IVF didn't work for us. I struggle at least once everyday with not being able to conceive. I feel guilt that I wasn't able to give my husband a child and iboray God removes this desire from my heart. Its torture… I am beyond blessed to have an amazing marriage and I need to focus on that.

I’m pregnant with my third, and my daughter is 9 and my son 7. At first I was nervous about the huge age gap but now I’m realizing how wonderful the difference in age will be. The kids will be more involved with this baby and they’ll remember this time. Don’t worry about the age difference ❤
That’s the exact same age gap as my sisters and I. I am the middle. It is a great age gap. We loved having a new baby sister but as we grew we became great friends.

Thank you for sharing your feelings about the age gap because I’m in the same situation and I have the same reservations, I so desperately want a second child but my son would turn 6 if I got pregnant now and what would that look like for their relationship, it puts doubt in me. I’m turning 44 next month and I need to realistically think how much longer can I take the mental strain of trying for another, I wish it was easy for us. The cost of anything medical is ridiculous and not a route we want to go down. I look forward to hearing what you do next cycle.

My girls are 4.5 years apart (honestly closer to 5 years) and they are so sweet together. Now my oldest is 7 and a half and I just found out I am pregnant with a third and I had the same thoughts as my siblings are spread in age and we weren’t close growing up but I’ll say now that we’re older me and my older sister who’s 7 years older than me are super close. Keep trying a bit longer 🥲😭

Oh no Andrea don’t think like that love , my daughter is 14 and my son is 8, almost 9- daughter is 2.5 and I promise my son cares for her as if she is his, it’s incredible to watch , my older one doesn’t want to babysit of course but they cuddle all the time for Disney movies. I enjoyed them all having their own time with me and being a big sibling now ❤

Me and my oldest sister is 15 years apart I have another older sister that is 2 years older then me and I’m the closest to my oldest sister she is my best friend she helped raised me I understand if you don’t want to get into more debt and the possibility of it not working out as you may want and in this economy that is extremely realistic and stressful to think you are pouring so much money into a hope and dream when you could have been pouring it into your family and other things like vacations but when you step out on faith you have to take a risk…..I myself personally stepped out on faith and underwent brain surgery on my pitutary gland because my prolactin levels were high and it stopped me from ovulating my brain and body is now healed and I’m just praying every month my body does what I begged it not to do when I was a teenager and in my early 20s with nothing to rub together but 2 pennies I pray you and every woman trying gets what they pray for and if you are only to be blessed with your daughter give her so much love that she drowns in it because she is here healthy and beautiful

Andrea, as a little girl, my dream was to get married and have 6 children. Life didn’t work out like that. I wanted to marry the right person and I did. We’ve been married almost 30 years. We have one son together. I look back with no regrets because although we didn’t fill the home with children, we filled our home with love and respect. Our son grew up in a stable home with parents who created and keep a happy home environment included a half sister who is 6 years older than our son. (Husband was divorced when I met him). Your Hannah is lucky to have parents who love each other, not every child gets that type of childhood. She’s a lucky girl. I hope you get pregnant next month, we are praying for you ❤

Those digital tests don’t always work, I wanted a momento when I first found out I was pregnant and it said not pregnant and I was like omg omg. Luckily Dr reconfirmed my pregnancy again. Just gave birth to a baby boy!!
Hi Andrea! If you want another child added to your family, you should go for it. I wouldn’t worry about whether the kids would be playing with one another or not. I know siblings close in age that never cared to be around one another. I noticed you were really hard on yourself this video. It saddened me because I know each month you give it 110%. No matter what, everything always works out the way it is supposed to ❤️
I just want to ask because I’m not sure if you answered before but is it possible to get bloodwork done the day you see the faintest line? Or would it not be able to detect hcg?

I know how u feel about this isn’t what u wanted for ur life, I’m 33 now and I’m needed ivf to have a little one but I need an op which I’m on a referral for but they can still turn me down for and I’m actually disabled too and I never thought I’d be here when I was younger . I thought I’d be like my mum and oldest sister , a young mum but nope never happened. Sadly I’ve had multiple losses but never made it to full term .but also with the siblings thing I have 3 and when my younger brother was born I was 5 and I loved him so much , still do ! I know everyone and all children are different but it isn’t that bad as people think it is with age gaps . Is there anybody you can talk to about ur ttc journey to help with emotional rollercoaster of it ? As it is hard and I want you to feel supported ❤

Andrea don't give up hope, me and my sister were 5 years apart and we loved eachother as kids heck when my mom found out that I was most likely a girl my sister wanted me to have the same name. It did happen as adults we kindof separated a bit due to life and my sister getting married and having kids and her own friends, but I still love my sister and love spending time with my nephews and her when I can, which it is harder for me though since i have a disability too which is why we dont see eachother much. Also yes I feel your disappointment I'm only 26 and i should be in my prime but I'm finding it difficult to get pregnant dispite testing and tracking and everything else so don't let your age fool you. Each month i get negative tests and i think to myself how can my brother and sister have kids like they did but i cant. So i remember that each new cycle is a new opertunity. My man aka boyfriend which he was my sperm donor only at first, is 38 actually which me and him have said we don't want to get married until we know for certain it's going to work out because if there's a kid involved we rather be friends then hate eachother. Anyway do not give up I know it's going to happen for you sooner or later. Your face and smile helps give me hope for each new cycle of mine. I hope you have an awesome day and awesome week. Don’t discourage you Andrea ❤ it’s don’t tell you you’re not pregnant till you don’t have your period i don’t know why these early tests exist first i have 3 kids all of them i tested when period wasn’t there about 13 18 and 21 days past ovulation hormones start after 8-13 days after ovulation and can take till 12 days after this to show on a test my last third one i never been able to test urine tesr i got a this time my period and the pregnancy was discovered after an appointment at 13 weeks pregnant she was my miracle one too not expected at all and we confirmed it with a blood test and a scan im trying right now at 44 with my boyfriend my fourth but he’s first it’s not easy i had 3 weeks lates period on may they discovered a cyst that broke my period came a 48 cycle didn’t had these cycles ever always 24-33 and my hormones test blood don’t show that im on peri ménopause the cycle after was a 33 days period was explained at 28 days 3 days late a very very faint line but period came July 26 very low i didn’t tested again but i have breast tenderness nausea and i think i don’t make ovulation test at all i think i just ovulated later then expected and it can be anniversarie period so we chose after 6 months soon to take a break with a sterilet august 15 so i will had bo choice to take a test before do i hope baby is there before this appointment but i don’t also expect anything im to ovuled if there’s nothing already cause i don’t want to know august 8 but my ovaries run so we don’t know so we will try from tomorrow day 9 after period where fertilizer window start so will see take the chance there’s nothing and keep trying so well be fixed august 15 by a blood test if im pregnant this cycle or pregnant from previous cycle of july otherwise we’ll take a break good luck Andrea it’s hard but tell you you have a beautiful healthy girl i have 2 healthy one 19-17 our third sadly my miracle was born 13 years ago sleeping so i understand your mood since this time i want a fourth one it’s ending by a divorce last year and now im trying with my new boyfriend so will see will be he’s first but he knows i will probably not be able sad for him but he accent the situation don’t want one absolutely on my side i already have too so sad but that’s life ❤
