They played a campus party in LaCrosse Wi in ‘85 when they were just comin’ up. Good music. Bad wardrobe. Important music. Added to the whole purpleness of the time.

Most underrated funk from the 80's era....plain and simple. These guys were ahead of their time and 100% pure funk. 2 schmoov. Thanks for helping me through those teenage years with your unique sound. Still love it to this day....TAKE IT BACK!

The clerk told me it was a Prince side band so I bought it, I was not sorry! Back in the day Prince had a deal with WB, he could record any band he liked but WB didn’t have to promote them.

In 86 Went down to LA from Fresno to buy some clothes and fake Rolex watches. Went thru the record shops found this gem.. blasted from Nissan pick up. Love it.

Born in 72 lived all thru the 80s some of the early 80s to me was like dark best way I could put it we just came out of the 70s it was like a door closed and went black but like around 86 things started picking back up again not saying that there wasn't great music and movies in the early 80s there was heck I'm still picking up on some I missed back then. Does anyone know if they released a different version of this particular song? I was in the middle east when I purchased this album back in the late 80's. I'm certain, the release I had was based on the Japanese release but there is no indication that the song would've been any different than the U.S. version. As mentioned, just wondered if anyone knows of another recording for this song by them?

All these songs were written and recorded by Brown Mark. The band was put together after he did the work.

There is a live rehearsal version, but from what I can see the rare Japanese CD release version, is the same as the US vinyl version time wise.
