hello. I am Paraguayan, I am happy that you are in my country enjoying everything it can offer you, we always receive and will receive people who want to invest and do good for their community and others! This country is beautiful and I love it! welcome!🤗
My father grew up in Paraguay. I’m born in Brasil but I remember vividly the visits we made to my grandparents. Heart warming, I’m crying my eyes out. I live in Belgium and Miss home so much.
I’m from Paraguay and I’ve never heard of this place! I’m so happy that there is a community that is all organic and without poisons, I’ve always dreamed of something like that. And yes it’s true, I’m one of those paraguayans that loves his freedom. Also, how crazy it is that they have schools where they teach children things like growing food and building homes. This makes me so happy and proud.
BRILLIANT - Teach children and adults to grow food, FANTASTIC. LOVE the circular layout of the Community, the Organic food growing, and the building methods and techniques. 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
@lolitabonita08 I'm not sure where you live but this is not Big Money. I don't know of anywhere in the US where you can have a house like that for $125,000. Just to have clean air, water and food is worth it all to me. Our health is more important than anything at least to me and it is being destroyed by all the chemicals in the air, water and food here in the US.
A place for rich people to live simpler. I see no apartment buildings for more efficient use of land and resources for example, only oversized expensive mansions. Also sounds like for example the food still costs money for the residence, they just get to buy first. Seems like a OK place overall, but has issues.
I have been living in Caazapa, Paraguay for 3 years now and it is a dream for business owners. Paraguay is good ground for the self-employed. There are few regulations and the taxes are the best I have encountered in the world. I never want to work or live anywhere else again. Such warm people. Here you are never alone if you are good to your neighbors.

"Portugal is generally considered quite safe compared to countries like Spain, France, the USA, and Germany, as well as many other European countries. For instance, if you're looking for a property along the coast, you should expect to budget more than 500,000 euros and that does not include the Algarve.

I´ve been working in paraguay for more than 10 years. Here is my take, for those who are thinking about living here: Pros: Lots of nature, vast amount of land at a reasonable price (depending on the region), somewhat affordable (depending on the region), guns for self defence are accessible, somewhat stable political and economical environment (compared to the old 1980´s). Cons: Risk of violence (depending on the region you have drug trafficking, epp militia groups, regular perps), lack of modern infrastructure (if you are coming from a developed country), generalized corruption (all levels of government), cultural idiosyncracies (I cannot stand some of their cultural habits). Summarizing, I think it is a good idea if you are retired, with some money reserved (dollar and euro goes a long way here), and you are looking for isolation in a rural land (preferably in one of the mennonite settlements). If you are looking to open a factory or bring an innovative business here, there is room for growth but it has to be with brazil and argentina in mind. Paraguay has a relatively small population that are mostly low income, so selling anything to them needs to be low cost/big margin/credit system.
When he said free Ideas, disagree without being at odd and not religious community, free to have ones own belief. Best of all organic food. That is my utopia. Thank you for showing us that this is possible.
It is not expensive - but wonderful! Of course, the construction costs also include the costs for the entire infrastructure. This includes electricity, internet, water, communal areas, swimming lakes, dams, over 100 km of roads, café, library, kitchen, bakery, security guards (A must in Paraguay) and much more. You can't compare this to any settlement project in the world or even in South America. When you include everything, it becomes clear that it is not expensive. The jungle and the inexhaustible nature is wonderful! But the best thing is the heart-connected community. ❤
Very expensive homes for location and very little land on those lots to make it independent, off grid living. Brand new houses in Texas, USA are cheaper than in Paraguay.
In my younger days I went on several mission trips to Asuncion. The people there were very nice. I've always known its a great place to retire, however I prefer to be near a sea.

There is a lake for swimming without fishes, walking through some little surprises of arts, and sitting places. There you can reed books from our library or easyly take an outtime or walk without shoes through the gras.. You are invited to discover!

In 1893, a few hundred Australian people migrated to Paraguay, in the hope of establishing a utopian socialist community. Many more followed, and called themselves The New Australia movement. It seems that people have always wanted to leave the Western world, and obviously still do. Just to let you know, the New Australia Movement didn’t work out too well. Lots of infighting, and financial issues, and it all eventually disbanded. Some of the descendants of these early migrants are still there, and have an Australian accent (well, from 1893)
Same happened to a community of Boers from the Republics of the Transvaal (ZAR) and Orange Free State who refused to live under the British Empire in 1902, following the Empire's Gold War.
Considering that once laid back modern Australia is becoming not so much that, I am rather tempted to follow in their footsteps. Will give it a bit longer but Paraguay is certainly a tempting thought. 🤔
The Mennonites were invited by the government of Paraguay to see if they could successfully farm tracts of land that nobody else could cultivate. Needless to say, they succeeded. It's funny to see blond-haired blue-eyed children coming into town who are German speakers. There's an old National Geographic magazine that covers this story with great photos.
I was in Durango Mexico in 1986 and there was a Mennonite community there. The men spoke Russian and spanish and the women Russian only. This community has positioned itself correctly and sells CO2 certificates because nature there provides enough oxygen to regenerate the CO2 value and at the same time emphasizes that the air there is clean.
My first thought was these people are probably racist. You are welcome. If you show respect for the environment and the local culture, people will love you. In this country we do not have problem with other cultures if they behave with sane good intentions in their hearts... when you speak with people from other countries you just know what is in their hearts in a few minutes of conversation A key rule is just behave with humility and try to learn and understand paraguayans, we are not complicated people, just make some effort to learn a basic spanish and a plus is also some words in "Guarani" (mba'e teko, mabaeishapa = how are you? ) or say "Hola como estas" and you are in a good way. I believe this is a mostly conservative country with roots on Christianity, but any form of spiritual practice with good intentions have place also
Hats off, but what irks me is this: investors and freedom CANNOT go together. They contradict each other. Investors (especially white men from the west) want one thing and one thing only. Watch down the road when these investors "organize", and start introducing "laws" that suits them, and laws need armed thugs to enforce them. That's when your freedom starts to look not as free as it began. Man's mind is corrupt by default. Just saying. Otherwise, lovely concept, gorgeous setting.
@@__3800 You are correct, that is one big risk actually. With traditional german menonites our experience is good, since they integrate with local culture and the investments they do benefits local population and they do no impose "their rules" nor create new laws that benefits to them only. They are not colonial-imperialist and extractive culture like UK o USA style, - Sadly this is a world wide prejudice - But also I know that is not true for every american or british. I live here on Colonias Unidas , a german Colony in Paraguay, they are not exclusive nor racist, they mix very well with local population, some groups are more closed due to religion factors and we respect that, they do benefit this country in the end. They are not interested in exclusively extracting resources from this country and only filling their pockets nor creating militar bases for Germany, that would be the case with a tipical British/USA colony
I don't want to spoil anyones dream of a better life, however, this place is a richmans playground, one does not buy a million dollar 3-D printer unless one is very rich and has the intent to make many more millions with it.
30 years ago, I lived in Paraguay for about 2 years. And I absolutely loved it! I lived in Asuncion, the capitol. Great people great country.

It is well designed for its purpose.
I am so thrilled to see this community. This is exactly what I’d love to see become a reality all over the world. Bravo
I would too.
A place for rich people to live simpler. I see no apartment buildings for more efficient use of land and resources for example, only oversized expensive mansions. Also sounds like for example the food still costs money for the residence, they just get to buy first. Seems like a OK place overall, but has issues.
Such places should be inclusive and multi-cultural and not exclude the non-affluent especially given the refugee crisis world-wide.
@@lily_m3538 Well it would need to be free to live there. But clearly the place is for the rich by design.

@belle42 That is simply NOT true.
I´ve been working in paraguay for more than 10 years. Here is my take, for those who are thinking about living here:
Pros: Lots of nature, vast amount of land at a reasonable price (depending on the region), somewhat affordable (depending on the region), guns for self defence are accessible, somewhat stable political and economical environment (compared to the old 1980´s).
Loved, I Will Comment before i finish the video this is what we call real life God Bless You
When he said free Ideas, disagree without being at odd and not religious community, free to have ones own belief.
Security guards are a must in Paraguay? Who is the threat?
Yes, I noticed the piece towards the end with the 2 guards standing by a garden gate. At least one seemed to have a rifle.
And the land ?
Very expensive homes for location and very little land on those lots to make it independent, off grid living. Brand new houses in Texas, USA are cheaper than in Paraguay.

Lots of infighting, and financial issues, and it all eventually disbanded. Some of the descendants of these early migrants are still there, and have an Australian accent (well, from 1893)
Fascinating. Thanks for sharing
Same happened to a community of Boers from the Republics of the Transvaal (ZAR) and Orange Free State who refused to live under the British Empire in 1902, following the Empire's Gold War.
Today we humans can learn again to do things differently and better...
Socialism proved not working anywhere. People must be free!
The area was very desert-like until we arrived at the land they had leased and it was lush and green. Their milk cows were huge and very well cared for. They made cheese and sold it to the outsiders. It's one of my best memories
@@brenda44414 That is fascinating, and what a great life experience you had!. Isn't it interesting that these were Russian speakers? The fact that they were in Russia at one time is a chapter of Mennonite history I was not aware of. I'll take a look and see if they are still there.

I have eaten some of that Mennonite made cheese from Northern Mexico. Many years ago...
Absolutely delicious. Among the best in the world.
@@heidimisfeldt5685 yes it was delicious. It came from huge cheese wheels and was kept in a barn on shelves. One of the things we noticed when we purchased some the man who cut it carefully washed his hands at a basin in our view. He washed just as a surgeon would.
More colonizers invading other people's countries after they've destroyed the indigenous people who were there first.
Fantastic video - getting right down to the nitty-gritty. Greatly appreciated!
This is really awesome. Love it.
What a wonderful creation. Thank you to all that have contributed.
That's what I love. That place in Paraguay looks unique. I live in Sacramento, California, my wife and I only eat organic. Also we have a purchase contract with a GRASS FED AND FINISHED REGENERATIVE FARM. My wife and I were born in Latinamerica. We've been in the USA close to 52 years.❤❤❤ we raised iur children and grandchildren here. Congratulations for that wonderful place. About the Well water is it free of heavy metals.?? I am a piano teacher here. ❤❤❤❤
I was raising here in Sacramento, California my own chickens for two and a half years , then a couple of neighbors didn't agree that I raise my own hens and baby chicks. Now I can't freely have what I love.❤
Wow!!!!......Heaven on earth. I have never thought this already exist on earth. I have been questioning my self why am I so different to so many even to my biological family. I have been evolving innately different to how I been raised and that I am a spiritual being. I am so looking forward making the plan to embark this realistic off the grid living. This is a great place on earth ❤❤❤
Of course we also have electricity and internet here
Wonderful!!! 5 D vibration, new age, spiritual growth, nice people, God people. The best, this is the Golden Era. This is just wonderful. I wish I could be there. Regards, from Puerto Rico, Enchantment Island.
Wow, this video shoots to the moon! And so many views, more than ever. You have made a great work! :-) You should do another video about this awesome project! :-)
Paraguay looks amazing
Thanks for such a great video. Very informative
❤ wonderful concept. Well done. Beautiful. I would move there.
You've got no clue. I know a lot of people desperately trying to get their money back after figuring out what's going on there. I've been trying to sell my lot there for pretty much half the price for a year now. Many people are taking legal action against the guys in charge there.
Thank you do much for this eye-opening and fascinating documentary. It's giving me ideas ....😊
Brilliant , a modern self supporting colony plus has the bonus of old fashioned values ,
This community has positioned itself correctly and sells CO2 certificates because nature there provides enough oxygen to regenerate the CO2 value and at the same time emphasizes that the air there is clean.
25k for a beatiful investment and community like that is a goal me as a american can strive for. Hell i think im gonna start saving for that now..
250k I think.

*The airport in the middle of Paraguay...and in a remote rural area...must be very useful...*
My first thought was these people are probably racist. As I continued to listen...I'm like this is sensible and not radical at all...then when he said they paused on their school project until they could figure out if Paraguay was aware that they are only 2 genders...I fell in love with this man. Great project I totally understand the reason to isolate and get away from all the crazies.❤
"rAcISt." Is that all you got? People are moving to places like this because they want to get away from toxic people like you who have to inject their woke BS into everything. I am almost certain that you thought they are racist because of the color of their skin. So who is the racist now? Perhaps you should go look up which race commits the most hate crimes in the US.
Wghy would you automatically form the opinion that they are racist?
Ok so this "intentional community " does not allow diversity nor teach that there are diverse people everywhere in the World.....So if you are White, semi wealthy and homophobic....Welcome Paraiso Verde! 😂
Perfect! I’ve been wanting to build a healthy community on my property in the Sierras, but wasn’t sure about the basic structure, so I’m safe as well as the new members.
I like that coffee shop where you can drink a beer and express your true opinions!
This is what people do here ❤
You are welcome. If you show respect for the environment and the local culture, people will love you. In this country we do not have problem with other cultures if they behave with sane good intentions in their hearts... when you speak with people from other countries you just know what is in their hearts in a few minutes of conversation
A key rule is just behave with humility and try to learn and understand paraguayans, we are not complicated people, just make some effort to learn a basic spanish and a plus is also some words in "Guarani" (mba'e teko, mabaeishapa = how are you? ) or say "Hola como estas" and you are in a good way.
We are all created equal except for some@@__3800
So wonderful. The southern USA used to be like that. Humble kind hardworking and close community.
I don't want to spoil anyones dream of a better life, however, this place is a richmans playground, one does not buy a million dollar 3-D printer unless one is very rich and has the intent to make many more millions with it. The middle class are the cash cows that keep this place running and I have the feeling the doctor is not being totally truthful. A gaited and 24 hour armed security force, which appears to be manned by locals is another hint, as well as the new airport and landing strip for private jets is another big tell. This place is not what it appears.
Yep something ain't on the level. Plus any Closed off Community of expats are the first places to be ravaged when in a Post WW3 environment. Local Security just disappears and real locals move in with or without nvites
Please explain the problem you see. Middle class keeping the place running. Attracting wealthy clients is fine. What are you seeing?
Great observations! Saved me an hour.
Freedom !!! I wish it was still this way in America!
