Richie played a small venue near me a few years ago. this guy is as real as it gets. He spoke to anyone that approached hi m A genuinely nice guy. Richie and his band presented a flawless show. A consummate professional.

A day without Richie Furay's voice is like a day without sunshine.
.....I close my eyes, concentrate on a voice that I first heard as a teenager while listening to the first Buffalo Springfield album. How fortunate and Blessed that Mr. Furay still has the voice from all those years ago, which means, how lucky do we the listeners that he can still lay it down.
I like the subtle lyric change about Christianity
Why? Its not the intent of the song. Its dumb and I say that as a Christian.

Wonderful rendition, Richie has been one of my heroes since starting junior college in Forest City, Iowa back in the autumn of 1969! Those were the days when you could go to a department store and buy any record album that you desired. Richie has had a profound influence on the Gospel songs that I have written and recorded!!! Of course I love his buddies, Paul Cotton & Rusty Young and I played solo in some of the same clubs as Jack Sundrud!

Great Job Richie! I was born in Memphis in 1953 just down the street from Sun Studio. Saw you with Poco at the Overton Park Shell in the 70's! Inspired me to get a pedal steel. Great show.

Loved everything about his performance but the replacement of that one phrase canceled out the entire theme of the song.
How so? 'splain it to me cause I must be ignorant....I believe that is a correct answer to the question...one does not become a Christian for one night, itz a life change, actually you receive life, eternal life...look at Ritchie, then take a gander at David Crosby...I listened to Crosby during his life...he died a miserable dude, never found the love of the Lord....look at Richie, man he is so full of life, when he is called and it's times up, he will step right across that ether and into eternal life...That's what it's all about....
