Went to concert in paris .It was fantastic and magical. A dream come true . Loved Phil from an early age and will love him forever. Phil you are a legend !!!!!
You guys gotta realize Phil has always had a super dry sense of humor, he's not sad at all, just working that deadpan humor he's always had. Actually I bet he's super happy to be playing music with his son.
Apparently the sitting down wasnt planned. He had a really nasty fall before the tour was due to start and instead of cancelling the tour he decided to change it to sitting down. Its also why he looks in some obvious discomfort. Makes me respect him more. Most acts these days would just cancel and disappoint the fans
Shocked he attempted this song with his severe tinnitus in his ears. My understanding loud high notes bother him a lot now, and was a big reason he retired. Nice he came out of retirement to perform with his young son on the drums.
I actually asked nic that himself. It's a replica gretsch made just for him. Since he's a righty and Phil is a lefty he needed that. I'd love to get a replica kit as well!
