Southern Fried Catfish

Catfish
1 cup cornmeal
1/2 cup flour
1/ teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper
Buttermilk
Mix cornmeal flour salt and pepper..put 1 cup buttermilk and 1/2 cup water. let fish soak in buttermilk for 40 or so minutes. take fish and cover in flour/cornmeal mixture. fry in hot oil untill done. might need more salt. we don't use alot of salt. You could also add lemon pepper. Hope you enjoy.
