Ambassador Eisen need to be reminded of the ninth commandment: “Thou shalt not bear false witness” (Exodus 20:16). And I bring this forward because in his opening statement, he mentioned that he had to get permission from his rabbi to participate in this hearing. And that he could not operate electronics today because of his faith. I’m not attacking his religious belief, as he is well within his rights to worship as his conscience directs him. But the Torah does teach not to lie.

You are missing the point just like Eisen wants you to. The document said that he had falsified business records to cover up another crime. That requires another crime, that the defendant has to defend himself against. The document said that the other crime was promoting an election by unlawful means. That requires another crime that the defendant must defend himself against. Then it said that unlawful means could be tax evasion, other records violations, an FEC violation, and one other thing that I cannot remember.
But it did not say how he committed tax evasion. It did not say what other records violation. It did not say what the FEC violation was (although we can all assume what it was). And it did not say what the fourth one was. So because it did not tell him what he was supposed to have done to commit those crimes, he cannot prepare to defend himself against those, which is required to defend himself against the promoting an election through unlawful means, which is required to defend himself against falsifying business records. If they had pointed out the specific crimes that he supposedly committed down at the bottom, rather than just the name of the crime, then he could prepare a defense. But they did not.
It would be like if they charged you with tax evasion, but they did tell you how you committed the crime. How are you going to defend yourself from it? Was it your return last year? Was it the donation you made to some non profit three years ago? Was it the allowance you gave your child? You do not know. So how do you prepare a defense? And if you cannot defend yourself against that one, and another crime says you must have committed this crime, then how do you defend against that one? And if you must have committed that one, in order to be guilty of yet another one, how do you defend yourself?
I do not trust these people.

And one of the witnesses was with the republicans, saying it was most assuredly a lab leak. They asked him political affiliation just to let people know that it was not just a bunch of republicans saying it was a lab leak. He said he was a lifelong democrat that voted for Hillary and Joe Biden.
You find legal scholars both on the right and the left that say that the Trump trial was a political prosecution and had many problems for appeal. Because they are following the law and are not willing to shill for the democrats and change their beliefs just because they may dislike Trump. But pretty much everyone that cheers the conviction, and believes it is just is a democrat. Their hatred of Trump is greater than their belief in the law.
