(It's in one of his sermons, sorry I don't have the reference ATM.) Of course there's the all-important caveat that it must be real, true Love. The Church has always been very wary of this kind of thinking, and it's associated with the heretical Brother- and Sisterhood of the Free Spirit, which got a lot of people burned at the stake over the centuries.
