Came across your channel because I'm searching out boots that can be repaired vs throwaways. We had a hurricane come through a month ago and it did a number on trees in the area. While I was cutting up a tree for a few hours, the Carhardts, which I hadn't worn but maybe 10 times in the past 10 years, decided to do a sole disappearing act on me in the middle of the task. They couldn't be repaired due to the design according to the local cobbler. What a waste of a good upper and they were fairly comfortable with the soles intact. Lesson learned, welt construction only from here on out. Retirement doesn't give reimbursement on work shoes/boots and stomping on a shovel barefoot ain't an option.
Your channel is helpful, I've considered the SAP621 and will probably get a pair to stick in my truck at least for emergencies.

Any update on the boots on vibram sole and the rock rooster sole

I'm not a fan of the rock rooster sole. They have discontinued the vibram soles. Kind of squashed my video idea along with the fact that I just had a kid. I've been meaning to make an update

If you do get them resoled send them to Trend and heath. They are the cheapest that I could find and they have a youtube channel. Also I have both the stitched insole and none stitched insole from rock rooster and they feel almost the same in the boots I have used them in. I mean there is some difference but they are still the best insoles on the market.

I've seen a couple of T&H vids, seem like good guys I'll keep them in mind. Wearing the new insoles since Monday, I've noticed they aren't as pillowy (is that a word?) as the stich sided ones, but they are still comfy. Time will tell

@@handy_man9157 Also apologies about the mis spelling. I am dyslexic and do not even notice the mis spelling until it is pointed out. Although you didn't point it out.

Not a video yet. They are comfortable, but I definitely prefer the original puffy ones that came with the boot.
