Thank you Jack for not giving up all these years in informing as many as you can about climate change. It's pretty devastating but what really comforts me is remembering the hope found in the Bible. Climate change has nothing to do humans' feeling or emotions. It takes its own course. Humans are not different from other animals whose habitats have been destroyed by humans in the name development. Biggest problem with humans is that they have stopped killing each other, after the WWII. If you see the humans' past, you'll see that they were killing their enemies mercilessly. Battles and wars and lack life saving technology kept human population from increasing in the past. Then present era of development and technology is trying to save every human, giving a tremendous artificial value to worthless humans. These two factors have compounded humans misery on this planet, leading to mushrooming populations. Global warming will certainly destroy the human hubris which governments all over the world are epitome of. They are evil in essence.
Richer nations are now starting to see the affects of climate change in their own homes, so they will hopefully at least now address this huge issue and injustice. It’s so sad to see that previously colonised nations and those still under colonial rule will suffer the most and have done the least. My family is from Sri Lanka, which has only recently gotten out of colonised rule, and is right next to the equator. I am sure it will be one of the first to go. @@anthonymorris5084 But Australia and the US have large portions well into higher latitudes. There are millions of refugees migrating across the world. Where are they all heading. To countries that embrace capitalism. People vote with their feet.
So in other words survival of the people who wernt out competed. The consequence of being out competed is extinction is a law of nature. So the south is done basically. Humans will only live in the north from now on. I disagree on Canada being in the green zone where global change doesn't impact much. Winter here is our culture, our identity, and we're losing it. The melt of permafrost in the Arctic can boost by two times global warming. The forest fires you see now in Canada and Russia emits huge amounts of CO2 and destroy nature. The natives communities in Canada, that already lived through a genocide committed by the British colonizers are the first to suffer from global warming. How can the Inuits live an ancestral lifestyle when there is no more polar bears, whales and that there is no fuckin ice anymore. Global warming in Canada is three times as much as global warming in the rest of the world. The ice that melts here, sea ice and glaciers, are gonna rise sea level (only valid from glaciers) and make the world warmer with less reflective ice. The influx of clear water will dilute salt sea water and disturb ocean currents. Your life or death depends on how the arctic reacts to the uncertain future.

VOTE GREEN at every level, from the local people who run your city, to governors at the regional levels, and all members of parliament's, senates and also for your president. We are so close to doomed now it is scary, and as we continue to vote for capitalism and corporate profits before all else, one day the disaster will be at your doorstep in the form of an earthquake, fire, flood, or something, as it is in so many places now. NO other party ever does anything for the earth but allow corporations to destroy it for profits. As you can see from this video and so many more like it, we must act now "all of us world wide".
I honestly cant even watch this. The teality of this world gives me so much stress
Except this video doesn't even come close to representing reality.
why would anyone dislike this now? 😂
They don’t want to hear the sad truth.
Cognitive dissonance
Some sell petrol !
He did not comment on how environmental conservation are seen as way by north to keep the south poor. I mean look at Brazil
@@DC-xg7vnbut you have to have enough money for you to be able to invest in these things and comfortably offer services to your citizens. the West development by exploiting their environment and so telling any third world country not to exploit their environment is hypocritical and can be seen as a way to keep the south poor.
Jack out here doing God's work.
Not "almost" basic human right, it is basic.
yo! jack, let's do a video about global citizenship and how it relates to and provides a possible solution to many issues such as climate change.
There is a video that the moon is wobbling so that is what is doing this?
We’re going to need a lot of nuclear power plants to get to carbon neutrality.
Every citizen of those impoverished nations would gladly have a new car, a new house and a swimming pool. Human will always utilize their environment to the fullest extent but the damage they do is limited by the technology they possess.
Agreed. Wealth is what keeps us safe.
"I can't wait to finish this raft so I can finally escape all of this capitalism." What nobody has ever said.
If only everybody believed or cared. For example my parents don’t even care they are already leaving the world
Can’t care about u then
How, how old they are?
@@klokoloko2114 They're likely old enough to have endured decades and decades of world ending alarmism that never came true. Nuclear Armageddon, the coming ice age, the 1970's energy crisis, the threat of starvation by the 1980's, Y2K and on and on.
@@anthonymorris5084 OK, you are climate denier..
@@klokoloko2114 Why would you jump to that conclusion? Climate change is happening and it's mostly human caused. No scientist on the face of the earth says we're all going to die.
Once you find how to stop CO2 and NOx from the the mass water bodies, then you will have a natural earth.
Humans: We need the earth to survive.
Earth: I do not need humans to survive.
Before we begin discussing the morals of power generation, can we at least first shut down the Lithium mines in Africa where they exclusively use child slave labour?
Its NOT survival of the fittest. But it's survival of the luckiest.
The people who embrace capitalism will easily survive. When a hurricane hits the U.S. around 5 to 10 people die. When they hit the Philippines 20,000 people die. The Netherlands already sits below sea level. The Dutch aren't dying, evacuating, fleeing or becoming climate refugees. In the 1970's a flood hit Bangladesh that killed 250,000 people. Capitalism generates the wealth that keeps us safe.
@@anthonymorris5084 All those so called "developed" countries are away from equator and are least affected by climate change. The so called "developing" countries are near equator and more affected by climate change. To make matters worse, the warmer climate has allowed food to easily grow in the near equator countries making their population to explode. So they are further worse when it comes to loss of life due to climate change.
BTW, IMO, the US is NOT a capitalist country. If it was, government would not have intervened in 2008 crash and bailed out all those thieves running investment banks.
@@santoshstudy5812 Australia's north is very close to the equator. The southern U.S. is hot all the time. Temperature has nothing to do with the success of a nation. It's also not warming nearly as fast on the equator as it is in the Arctic or northern areas. I agree that the U.S. government should never have bailed out the banks but that hardly means that the U.S. isn't capitalist. It was also an incredibly unique and unprecedented economic calamity.
@@anthonymorris5084 But Australia and the US have large portions well into higher latitudes. You will have to look at average latitude of a nation and plot it against per capita GDP and you will probably see a strong correlation, with per capita GDP probably peaking at latitude of about 45.
After climate change has taken full effect, this peak latitude will probably shift to 60.
So not only was the south outcompeted but have the majority of the population who cannot go north unless all land is used for cities and so for many reasons are trapped there. Then the only option is waiting for billions to fade away. Probably what happens
Welcome to life, where there's always been winners and losers.
Ohh and if anything, coal ended slavery.
Let’s go Brandon
Sad.
Life is unfair…
Its stuff like this that will lead us into the N.W.O.

I am sorry but I live in Scotland half the planet is ruined and I don't want to ruin the other half mibby it should be suggested to stop having children for people that just can't afford it not to have 6

You folks need to focus on the Impending Magnetic pole shift. Not waste time on Poltically correct issues like racism and Fair share and Greed etc. The Magnetic Poles are Shifting. and yes many places are having weather disasters. I live in the Ozarks a place that isnt any more racist or sinful or uses any more or less so called fossil fuels. And we are haveing a exceptional growing season. It rained again today. My corn is ten feet tall. everyones gardens are producing like never before. So much stuff blooming the Hummingbirds are barely usingour feeder. Our Bantams are hatching their second batch of baby chicks. Now I know it can and will change. The pole shift will be the equalizer. When the USA electric grid goes down and it will. It will be a SHTF WROL. and not regress to a relatively comfortable 1800,s pre electricity lifestyle. Nope it will be a Stone Age existance. At best a medeival lifestyle. Man Caused and Man mitigated Glowbull Warming Climate Change is a hoax lie religion . CO2 is not a pollutant plants need it to grow .Ok Ive been asking the Glowbull Warming climate Change man is killing the Earth advocates. How when it comes to their claim man is increasing Greenhouse gases. Why the first Law of Physics (which is Man cant make any tangible element into nothing and man cant create any tangible element from nothing) some how that rule doesnt apply. I want them to explain how man is reducing The amount of Oxygen and increasing the amount of CO2? When they do Im going to Patent the process because it will solve the Perpetual Motion problem.
Not sure I've ever heard so many lies from one video.
While I believe we have to decarbonise and bring about equality, nothing makes me more pessimistic than the childish nature of videos like this one.
😂😂😂 7 years later proves this is all bull💩
If oceans were rising, why did Bezos vuy a huge beachfront house?
