Glad their doing this I’m not for sure how long I’ve been playing but I’m about to research half way thru tier 2 and just seeing the unlocks be over 100,000 made me go why am I playing so much for one item and it really hurts when I bassicly unlock the same gun back to back like the tier 1 grease gun and tier 2 right after I havnt unlocked any other snipers because I thought it would be a waste of time
Now I wish people would stop saying DF doesn’t listen. My gosh, they aren’t perfect, but they are way better than most devs who like to fleece money or grind out of every person playing
When proposals for the silver economy first started coming in, I was fairly skeptical. The most concrete answers we got were the Battle Hero reward thing and an extra few hundred silver per match seemed good but not nearly enough. At the time I would have proposed simply doubling silver gain across the board. This is probably even better than that. The game should be in a much healthier state after these changes go through, and I can't wait to see how things go.
Sigh. I just completed the Japanese and Americans and have 2 Soviet and 5 German things to unlock in research. 😢 I guess I'll be done slightly faster. Do I get a Chump Who Grinded The Hard Way award?
At the very least your silver is going to have more bang for its buck and you're able to buy and try all of the new stuff you researched, buy high tier soldiers and stack your squads
Wow... just wow! This is exactly what I was hoping for! :D Spread this to as many people who were / are interested in Enlisted. This will help with bringing lots of people to the game for sure.
I can now jump into the low BR stuff for my Axis main, and now I can start playing heavy in all factions across the board. Wow. This really is going to get a LOT of new players to join in.
I was thinking about making a post on reddit about how poor I thought the design was for new players to be bottle-necked by Silver income when still in the early part of the game/progression, especially with the premium account not actually increasing silver income. I was not able to keep up with my squad upgrades while playing multiple nations at BR1, despite receiving honors virtually every game. I think these changes will really solve the silver bottleneck for new players, by making Research the bottleneck instead of Silver, which is how it really should be. This will better encourage players to upgrade to a Premium account, which is a win for Darkflow, on top of a win for players with these changes. Looking forward to this change!
Haven't played in ages (since the tech rework) because the xp grind was insane and it set me back (lost previously unlocked equipment) so I'm cautiously optimistic.
Man I love how decided to research the German tree starting at tier 5 and going to tier 1 and have nearly completed it. (Only have some tier 2 and 1 planes left). This news really is fun to learn :). As a side note I have been saving research points and have got to about 300k in the German tech tree.
Okay, this is huge. I was literally about to make a post online about how ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE the economy is in the game. I’ve played a lot in the past week, and I had started with 260k silver, and now I have 150k… and I’ll admit I’m spoiled with max upgrades on almost everything, I main Germany BR V (all my stuff from max tier in Normandy), but literally all I had to do to spend that 100k silver was upgrade a handful of weapons, 3 or 4 vehicle upgrades, buy a couple soldiers, and that’s more or less it. 100k silver gone. I basically didn’t even buy anything new and exciting except for the VG.2. And that’s WHILE PLAYING the game and earning silver with premium account! Like a mission gets you a whopping 1k silver, so what? It costs upwards of 7000 silver just to get ONE higher tier upgrade for ONE gun for ONE soldier. At this rate I don’t see how I can even realistically start the grind of other nations, because I’ll have to buy soooo many soldiers and weapons and vehicles. Anything to help the grind become better is going to help a lot. I’d love to actually have fun in the game and get new stuff…
I mean a hypothetical BR6 can just be added to BR5. Jets, Jagdtiger 12.8 & 8.8, Ferdinand, ISU-152, Tortoise, T28/T95. Only thing that will be hard to fit is the Maus.
F2P player here. This is so awesome! I wince when I want to buy a assaulter tier 2. Because that's 7k, now I can do it and don't worry about thinking it's a waste! This is a great change.
Upgrading a BR 3 weapon will now be FIVE TIMES cheaper than it used to be, and even upgrading a BR 5 weapon will be cheaper than upgrading a BR 3 used to be. Hype
War Thunder player since 2013 here. New to Enlisted in the last month. Been trying to finish up my last 2 BR 1 factions, wish they would stop throwing me against BR 3. My Allies and Japaneese are BR 1. No BR 2 weapons whatsoever, when I click start it states BR 1-2 but I end up fighting BR 3. Gaijin is still very broken when it comes to matchmaking.

I stoped playing right before the big economy change update. I came back yesterday and was demoralized by the grind of have to do if I wanted to play again. I grinded the Americans before the update but wish I did the Germans lol. I guess I had enough cards for 150k silver which I realized wasn’t a lot once I seen how expensive shit was but kinda happy today
Having a full time job, and a life I would still dedicate about 40 hours a week to grinding. After 3 months I have each army fully BRII. While still in love with the game I was getting a bit disheartened over the effort it required for such small gains. This is great.
Finally we can actually enjoy the thrill and the pace of a match without being too serious on grinding as much exp as possible from a match. Definitely a huge change and hopefully will be able to draw more people to enjoy this as well!

This is EXTREMELY good news, just last night I picked up the remote to deliver some pain. Results: 1st in Team, Battle hero, did however lose, 14min Qonquest mode, about 3000xp without Premium. The other team had about 6 high ranked players where I was the only one in my team. Closed the game and put on something to watch. First time I wondered if I would every dig into the game again....? SO YES, THIS IS GOOD NEWS! Question is WHY? Imagine they would give us all back that grinding time in XP and silver we would have gained until today. I have 300h + and have unlocked 3 Nation's BR2 armaments and Soviets started BR3 armaments fyi.
Thats sooo cool. I hope they'll release this soon, since they've catched the community's positive feedback. The biggest complain most players had about Enlisted is the snail-type grind. Now its over and we are looking into a bright future! Maybe snail will give darkflow more workers, idk, for better, faster, stronger updates! New warzones, new maps, new weapons, maybe, even, in future, new campaign - Korea, with 2 factions and better weapons...
I'm gonna have to come back when this update goes live. I haven't played enlisted for about 12 months, if not more. I love what this game offered in terms of equipment and vehicles but the grind was not worth it. I hope to see more updates like this. Thank you Qaudro for the updates!

I grinded with basic T1 Riflemen until I got to T3 on every country and saved all my silver all I did was complain about the grind for anything worth while since Riflemen are still insanely good. Best change, couldn't ask for more.

I was just explaining to a family member last night about how Enlisted is fun and doesn't feel pay to win, but is the craziest grind fest I've ever seen. Maybe I'll actually get to play with an FG-42 before I eventually move on to something else.
Maybe its because Ive been playing World of Tanks for over 10 years, but I didnt see the grind being all that bad. When I saw that massive decrease in the grind, I immediately had 2 thoughts. One was, will it actually be easier to buy troops and equipment to keep up with the faster levelling. You touched on it, and after playing 3 games earlier, it seems to work out. I started with 176k, bought a few soldiers and weapons, and still ended with 180ish. The other thought was, will it hurt the overall player balance of the game? Youll have less people playing low BR because theyll just level out fast, and those same players will be hitting high BR while in some cases still not even knowing the basic mechanics of the game. Because thats what low BR is really for, to learn the ins and outs of the game before meeting up with much higher skilled players.
This is awesome. I imagine this will make the game much more appealing for players. It’s an amazing game with so much potential, but the grind was unbearable. This seems like a much better balance.
This is awesome! Now if only they allowed us to play events and get all the rewards without being forced to play every two days. I’d really like to be able to play more at my own pace. As it is currently in events I have several days where I love the game and play like 60k+ worth of event score but have days where I loathe playing and force myself to play and have to convince friends to keep going as well. I often have to just STOP at 20k even though I want to keep playing because I don’t want to burn out and need energy for the next stage :/
I quitted from Enlisted cuz the grind is INSANE, u had to work to Gajin to unlock something, things was like, 7.5k Silver Coins and i usually get 1.5k every match, it was Insane
Started the game like 2 weeks ago, playing solely Germany. Only in the last 4 days have I been researching in Tier 2 save for first lmg, there is just. SO. MANY. RESEARCH. Wish they'd kept the Italians seperate, feels like there are more Italian weapons than German

I Quited enlisted becose the grind, now i will reinstall it.
I've been playing this game since launch, this is the biggest update so far in terms of benefit to players

The 1.2 x 1.5 is like basically like 1.2 times its half so 1.2 + 0.6 equals 1.8 👍
