    Fun Fact: that V. Smile Shrek game has THREE PLAGIARIZED ZELDA SONGS, all from Ocarina of Time:
    Lost Woods is used later in the campaign, and the Kokiri Forest and shop themes are used in two of the minigames.

      @YeviCoulson 3 роки тому +16

      I think it's possible the 2 batteries he showed us were simply overlooked as when he had looked at them when going through batteries on day one but they said C-2 (or something) so he thought they were different types of batteries thus on day 2 after getting the C batteries or double checking he likely came to the realization that they'd been in his face all along albeit only 2 out of the 3 he needed. But if this line of thinking is correct it's possible he had more than one pack of C-2 batteries and he was just showing us one out of simplicity.

    As much as I played certain leapster games long after they were able to teach me anything (there was an amazing Thomas the Tank Engine game that was really fun to progress through) I kinda agree with the opening monologue's description of educational games. Ironically enough the most educational "games" I've ever played were the Minecraft mods Minechem and TerraFirmaCraft, the former got me to memorize a good chunk of the periodic table while the latter got me to remember the names of a lot of different minerals. Both of them together got me really interested in metallurgy, chemistry, etc. I think there's more value in a game that can _inspire_ kids to go into a certain field than to necessarily teach them all about that field with total realism. The best way to educate kids is to build a game where learning more about that subject naturally helps them to develop the skills needed to beat the game.

    Not gonna lie that last console really seemed quite fantastic at what it aims to be, it has a lot of tactile inputs that correspond to the games, it has a lot of small games and software and it's an all in one package. For smaller kids that would be perfect to play with as they can have games, be somewhat creative and it has many inputs to play with.

    As a V. Smile (and leap frog) collector (because I have brain damage and am stuck in the past please send help to me in 2004) I enjoyed this so much. Also sometimes if the cartridges are dirty it’ll cause the system to crash, and the cartridges are most likely dirty because kids.

      This is a very random question, but do you know of a V. smile game where the player was able to choose their character from a bunch of different animals (I think a panda and/or a dog were included), and the game was kind of RPG-esque with different tasks/quests you could do? I think there was even a bedroom that you could decorate. I swear that this game exists, and that it was my favorite when I was a kid, but for the life of me I can't remember the name or find it ANYWHERE, lol.
