I think that nightmare/inferno represents what a zombie apocalypse would be in real life: Very agressive zombies, hungry for flesh, one hit kills, few resorurces and lots of enemies
Ahhh who remembers the days of Resident Evil: Director's Cut playing Advanced Mode? Jill had a new outfit, camera angles were changed and even some graphics were enhanced, game was harder and items were in different places. 🙂
One of the things I love about Resident Evil just in general is the amazing idea to make the zombies bullet sponges. In any other zombie game it's "just a zombie" and a good shot to the head will kill them, but in RE, they're obstacles that will take up bullets and annoy the fuck out of you if you don't kill them.
@@DarrenHoussein that's not what he said and meant. He said he loves the idea that zombies take more than a few shots to kill than other zombie games and can be an obstacle for you later on in the game. Resident Evil has had its ups and downs, the series isn't perfect you know.
With the Infinite Rocket Launcher, the harder difficulties, even the boss fights (side for Final Nemesis in some examples), are pretty easy. Strange thing is though, I had the most trouble with the regular humanoid Nemesis if anything, not dodging his punches are an instant death sentence considering you’ll have no time to recover before he punches you again.
When I got hit with some of Nemesis moves my first play through I thought they would be a one hit kill because they looked so gruesome. But nope, just caution on standard lol. The one where he makes a torch out of you or the one where he snacks on Jill’s stomach definitely should be a one hit kill
I've waited THIS long to watch the differences. I wanted to experience them myself but it's been so long I just wanted to see. And I gotta say they did a great job compared to MOST hard modes in changing things up a little.
The last boss fight for Inferno mode is a joke....just pray and hope your RNG is good enough to where he won't triple slam you and instead he'll go for arm sweeps instead. (easier to dodge) It took me 2 and half hours to beat Stage 3 Nemi due to not running any infinite ammo weapons except the MUP just so i can take care of zombies easier.
Except for the fact that 99% of the time he will do that super slapper bullshit, and not to mention when you shoot those bulbs there is a chance that the acid will splash on you and that kills you in one hit to. The last boss on inferno and nightmare actually requires skill to beat unlike most resident evil boss fights that you can beat with one rocket.
I beat him with the mup too. With the attack coins, the mup destroys the pink bubbles in 1-3 hits on nightmare. Turned out to be very effective, moreso than the infinite assault rifle
Also doing things on Inferno is why you should get the rocket with 2 Defense Coins and 2 Recovery Coins. You'll have less instadeath moments and can heal from Danger to Fine in less than 30 seconds.
This didn't really show how early game Nemesis attacks way faster. That, and the ridiculous attack speed/damage of the final boss is what makes the harder modes so hard really.
I feel like Nightmare/ Inferno mode should have been the "normal" difficulty for the game. For experienced players, the standard mode was just too easy.
I praise anyone that beat Inferno mode w/o the rocket launcher and get an S ranking. I did manage to beat the final nenemis fight equipped w/ all the coins plus the redfield manual, rocket launcher and the rest filled with first aid spray. Dodging the deadly arm attacks and once you get hit once keep dodging and healing immediately.
Great vid. Man I only played this once when it released and have not gone back to it since. Corona messed everything up (was working in the hospital) so want to try get back into it after playing RE8 This week.
I’m proud of myself.... I never thought I’d have time or skill to do this, but I 100%ed the game, had all records and achievements before the game was even out for two weeks.
@Spike V1 I’m not lying maybe you’re just angry cuz you’re not as good as me XD idc if you believe me or not but I had the game 100% complete in the first 2 weeks if you don’t believe me you can suck one
"There's no replayability in RE3R! You finish the game in like five hours and that's it! There's nothing left! RE2R was so much better!" Bruh. Significantly more effort was put into the changes in Nightmare and Inferno than there was to RE2R's Hardcore OR B Scenarios.
@@diegojames8678 I think another issue is RE3 shuffled around content. They got rid of the park (which was a terrible area to begin with) and the clock tower (because the only thing that actually matters there is Jill getting infected), and then they significantly expanded on the hospital both in terms of area size and also story focus. But because people payed $60 for a game and didn't get something that they were expecting to get, that suddenly becomes "I got short changed."
Strongly disagree. Respectfully but strongly. Other than changing the location of the magnum, is there any reason for the rearrangement of the items? For real, I barely noticed the differences until this video pointing them out. Part of the consequences of being far more linear, the puzzle items pretty much have to stay put. A more open design would allow for that [RE2 had the opportunity but didnt really seize it either tbf] Most of the changed enemy placement seems like artificial difficulty. Like Dark Souls 2 levels of game design. They didnt take the time to think of how the player would act under certain conditions, certain items, instead just increased the enemy numbers and blind corners and hoped for the best. Nemesis is completely unchanged on higher difficulties, hes just able to combo you to death far easier. There are plenty of reasons design wise to explain why some of these issues are the designers painting themselves into a corner, but RE2 had far FAAAAR more to offer than 3. S2 for Leon and Claire isnt that different I grant you, but you still get at least 2 distinct scenarios and stories even without it. Hunk, Tofu x4, ghost survivors, the list goes on. 3s item store, for example, only exists because they omitted the mercenaries and without it there would be ZERO bonus content
People who complain that RE3R is short have never played a RE game before. It’s a Resident Evil game, all of them are short. They can be beaten in under an hour and thirty minutes (Except RE6).
Yea I went back and unlocked inferno and nightmare mode and damn it was intense. I thought I knew how to run the game but zombies seemed to lunge an extra yard to get me and zombies that I thought would be there weren’t and if they where they where many. I liked it
To beat Nemesis on Nightmare / Inferno mode: **You must have both defense coins** Good to have are the Combat Manual and Recovery Coins, Carry a ton of healing items. Assault coins do well to burst his balls in lesser hits. 1) Stay close to him, he is more likely to do his multiple thumping and arm sweep attacks than doing his smash hits, it is easier to dodge and land multiple hits on his balls when he does that. 2) Push the battery for just a micro second and then move / dodge away, Nemesis will always attempt to grab you when you try pushing the battery, leaving himself open for a hit as you get away. Above tips are not 100% guarantees, and you might take several tries even with the rocket launcher. But the odds of beating him are way higher with the above tricks.
@@BigHuskyGG Thank you, Captain Obvious. Who wouldn't know you need to burst one pod before moving to the other? That is how you have to play the final boss fight !! Duh !!!! But doing this on Nightmare / Inferno mode is an entirely different story okay? It aint as easy you claim it to be.
I managed to get S rank on Inferno today. If I didn’t have the coins and manual in my inventory, there’s no way I could’ve beaten it so easily. I maybe died three times on Inferno before I won; Nightmare took me a while and a lot of deaths before I got my S rank because I didn’t have the coins and manual. Makes a world of difference!
I finished nightmare mode without using shop items and no deaths and practiced alot of dodging with last nemesis fight for my inferno run i almost dodged all of nemesis attacks in only got hit when he screamed and stunned me i smashed buttons for recovery but sometimes jill goes into reload animation while reloading jill can't dodge and i don't how to dodge that one attack nemesis does he raises both his arms and reaches for for jill and drags his arm back and then pushes his arm forward
no one will ever beat Nightmare/Infeno mode without infinite rocket launcher unless they're really good at this game, one zombie bite already makes your status "Danger" and healing items are rare.
I just beat Nightmare yesterday. With the right items from the shop, the game can feel as easy as Assisted. This doesn't apply to the final boss. It was the real nightmare. It took me three days to beat it, and was on the verge of quitting every second. I didn't have the infinite RL though. I saw on a YT video that two blasts can take him down for you to push the capsules.
Key thing missing from this video is how FAST nemesis attacks in his normal form. His scream actually combos as he ends it's animation faster and attacks right after. That fast walking speed too. XD this man up here power walking. I hate that he doesn't appear often like he did in the original. SO MUCH POTENTIAL missed with making him scripted. He's way more terrifying on Nightmare/Inferno due to the speed of movement and attacks. Sucks you don't get to see it if you don't go beyond Hardcore and ESPECIALLY Standard. That's straight up baby mode as you saw in this video of the final boss. Slow motion and why Normal difficulty in games is not normal anymore, It's too Easy, and Easier difficulties are just watch the graphics and move, It's impossible to even die on purpose unless you get crushed by the Giant head run scene.
Props for anyone who beat the game on nightmare/inferno mode, i beat it on nightmare which wasnt too hard except the last boss fight..... does any one know if nemy is the same in inferno as in nightmare or is the last fight even harder? Im skeptical to go threw the aggravation
Fresh Prince Yep he is a lot faster and will kill you with one hit (everything does without coins) and also save rooms are less around so if you die you’re gonna have to do it from the last save. The last fight is really tough, but with the right timing and knowing when to dodge his moves you will eventually learn how to do it. He does this quick slap thing very quick but he does a pause in that which could be on the 5-9th slap which catches you out so be careful with that. Just know dodging is key in this mode. It’s best if you carry coins if you need that backup, you won’t die straight away and will have a chance and also get the stars manual so you can perfect dodge more accurately. Hope that helps and good luck, I felt proud after completing it and also did it with knife only. Such a challenge and I loved it :)

Nightmare and Inferno are so much fun, but the last Nemesis boss fight at the very end of the game makes taking on the difficulties frustrating. Unless you are able to time dodges and anticipate attacks *perfectly*, there is no way to defeat Nemesis without the Infinite Rocket Launcher.
You guys think there's adaptive difficulty on inferno? I got killed two times in a row last night and noted that after that a zombie bite took me to caution instead of danger .---.
I once screwed up on inferno, so I beat final nemesis right, but when I had to shoot nickoli, I had an itch and I missed, I got so pissed, that I had to fight nemesis again, because inferno didn’t have auto save, and it took me 10 tries to beat nemesis, then it took me 15 tries, god inferno was a pain, I then got the platinum trophy for it

The Spine Lizard ʕ•́ᴥ•̀ʔ it’s only easier with unlockables without the unlockables re3 is so much harder on inferno
Agree. Even if u havr infinate rocket launcher u still to be perfect and not even missed one dodge when fighting finall boss!
So that i am still stuck at nightmare level final boss!
I want to see a lore video on Jill. Maybe one for Krauser too.
And maybe a video that dwells deeper into Nemmy's behavior in all of his forms.
Dangerousgirl105 :D yeah that too, like a nemesis lore video about him and his different forms
This fight was so challenging on Inferno. I did it, but it broke me in the process and I haven't touched the game since.
One of the things I love about Resident Evil just in general is the amazing idea to make the zombies bullet sponges. In any other zombie game it's "just a zombie" and a good shot to the head will kill them, but in RE, they're obstacles that will take up bullets and annoy the fuck out of you if you don't kill them.
yeah no.
Homeboy knows what resident evil has been about since forever. I dig that lol
Darszy you ever shoot a zombie then it gets up the you shoot it twice more then it gets up again yeah he’s right
@@christopheracosta2060 thats not what makes resident evil games great though.
@@DarrenHoussein that's not what he said and meant. He said he loves the idea that zombies take more than a few shots to kill than other zombie games and can be an obstacle for you later on in the game. Resident Evil has had its ups and downs, the series isn't perfect you know.
5:04 Hunter A made some doggy friends lol
Kinda wholesome
With the Infinite Rocket Launcher, the harder difficulties, even the boss fights (side for Final Nemesis in some examples), are pretty easy. Strange thing is though, I had the most trouble with the regular humanoid Nemesis if anything, not dodging his punches are an instant death sentence considering you’ll have no time to recover before he punches you again.
Well no crap the games easy with the infinite rocket launcher
Yeah it's,definitely easier with the infinite rocket launcher I remember completing the story on inferno mode in 1.19 minutes so not bad
2:20 that nemesis is so very fast that made Chang Koehan look like a joke
Could you imagine how insane it would be if in the Tyrant and Hunter room, a Tyrant jumped out? That would be so cool
When I got hit with some of Nemesis moves my first play through I thought they would be a one hit kill because they looked so gruesome. But nope, just caution on standard lol. The one where he makes a torch out of you or the one where he snacks on Jill’s stomach definitely should be a one hit kill
Ian Pizarro Dog nemesis would be infinitely more annoying if his pounce was an instakill
Play it on nightmare and inferno and they are instant kills
@@hauntedheathen2732 why? It's so easy to avoid, just walk backwards
@@wallacesousuke1433 same could be said for all video game instant kills. It's still bad game design.
@@hauntedheathen2732 no it's not, unlike his final form :)
Everybody gangster till you see that hardcore isn't the hardest mode
One thing I love on RE3 remake. Even I have the infinite Rocket Lancher. The Nightmare mode could kill me and Last boss fight still intense
@@cbzspeedy8416 the acid only slows you downs, even in Inferno. What can happen is you not being able to push the energy tanks before he gets up.
@@Aomegeus acid can kill you on inferno. I speed run practice it a lot and that has cucked me a few times
Cheap as F. I agree.
I beat him with the mup too. With the attack coins, the mup destroys the pink bubbles in 1-3 hits on nightmare. Turned out to be very effective, moreso than the infinite assault rifle
And THIS is why you want to unlock the Infinite Rocket Launcher before taking on Nightmare mode.
GrandmasterDevo Now that just defeats the purpose and makes it way TOO easy grandma!
@@Mr.Honest247 no not at stage 3 nemesis he's really cheap
even with infinite rocket launcher, stage 3 is a B
Nah, Samurai Edge is the thing in Nightmare.
Checkout my video on Nemesis. I just notice that he runs fucking fast.
nice job 👍 so many players showing off but never gets to upload this
I feel like Nightmare/ Inferno mode should have been the "normal" difficulty for the game. For experienced players, the standard mode was just too easy.
Cynthia Meyers nobody experienced played standard mode first anyway
I agree except for final nemesis.
Cyberdemon Mike yeah the you tubers who either never played resident evil or only played re2 remake all the resident evil fans played hard-core
Cyberdemon Mike inferno was no joke played through it once and never again
I'm happy I played my first playthrough on hardcore cause standard and assisted are jokes
Nemi always kills me with one hit when it's that stabbing motion
So Nemesis Last Phase on Inferno Mode is pretty much a Dark Soul Boss mode
Game: prepare to suffer
Players: lol *infinite rocket launcher *
I praise anyone that beat Inferno mode w/o the rocket launcher and get an S ranking. I did manage to beat the final nenemis fight equipped w/ all the coins plus the redfield manual, rocket launcher and the rest filled with first aid spray. Dodging the deadly arm attacks and once you get hit once keep dodging and healing immediately.
4:32 *Roundabout starts playing*
I know I'm late to the party but damn dude you really are Resident Evil hardcore the good video man
Thankyou great video liked the visual switch you did one after the other
@@Djentlman7 Good job man. Im still trying to beat inferno.
@@illtakethatasacompliment5839 thanks. That was 6 months ago btw 😂
This is the video that i waiting for
Final form nemesis playing drum LoL
Nemesis on standard: 😥
Nemesis on inferno: 👺👺👺
"There's no replayability in RE3R! You finish the game in like five hours and that's it! There's nothing left! RE2R was so much better!"
Bruh.
Significantly more effort was put into the changes in Nightmare and Inferno than there was to RE2R's Hardcore OR B Scenarios.
I think people just want to hop on a bandwagon and say that RE3 is a bad game. I don’t know where it started but it’s how it is
@@diegojames8678 I think another issue is RE3 shuffled around content.
A more open design would allow for that [RE2 had the opportunity but didnt really seize it either tbf]
Most of the changed enemy placement seems like artificial difficulty.
I liked it
RE2 Remake is the GOAT, the one i always keep replaying, even after platinum. They had missed a great chance with RE3 Remake.
1:43 I nearly shat my pants there. I was ignoring the waterfall, then suddenly a fucking Gamma came out trying to eat me!
1:23 Look! its "raining mutated zombies day" also known as "You're fucked day"
So Much effort.. and for that.. I subscribe and like.. At least I know the differences between them.. thank youuuuu!
They really handicapped us with standard and hard-core mode.
bro the last bossfight on both nightmare and inferno is way too hard, especially compared to the rest of the game, its ridiculous honestly
To beat Nemesis on Nightmare / Inferno mode:
**You must have both defense coins**
Good to have are the Combat Manual and Recovery Coins, Carry a ton of healing items.
You dont need any of this. Just shoot pods and before last one bursts get near a pod. He isn't that hard to beat
Or get good and don’t use any shop items
@Spike V1 haha nah I beat Inferno without shop items but thanks for assuming
I managed to get S rank on Inferno today. If I didn’t have the coins and manual in my inventory, there’s no way I could’ve beaten it so easily. I maybe died three times on Inferno before I won; Nightmare took me a while and a lot of deaths before I got my S rank because I didn’t have the coins and manual. Makes a world of difference!
Fun fact. I beat inferno on my dad's Xbox. Now I play on my laptop. I've not tried even hard yet. Hehe I'm in for HECK!
Playin this without additional item from shop is such a wonderful journey.
The game isn’t that difficult even on Inferno, but Nemesis on final form... Jesus, that’s the big deal
I agree. I would love to play inferno again but I wont specifically cause of that last boss fight.
i have been struggling with the final boss and the final boss only. they said here’s a new dodge technique, now master it or you die
Try with out inf guns
Nam I did and I beated Nemmy, but he’s still hard to dodge
just finished nightamre without any shop items. final nemesis fight is a huge pain, took me hours
Inferno the game doesn’t save for you that’s the biggest difference if you don’t save you start from the beginning of the game
Nightmare and Inferno difficulty are like OG re3, It has more zombies in tight situations, except you can't pass between then that easily
I wasn't prepared for that Gamma after climbing down those stairs. Luckily I was able to move away quick enough.
Thank you for helping me prepare for the higher difficulty 😅
Nice vid Nachoooooooo.
When I played nightmare mode I was playing like if it was my first play through
Goddamit.... This is making me both scared and excited to play the Nightmare and Inferno mode.. Mostly scared... RIP me. 😂
no one will ever beat Nightmare/Infeno mode without infinite rocket launcher unless they're really good at this game, one zombie bite already makes your status "Danger" and healing items are rare.
That's some great work with the experimenting.
So even in nightmare difficulty, Jill never faced off against a single licker
ofc she does. in the hospital if you don't kill them with carlos
4:30 Top 10 perfectly cut screams
Seinfeld Music plays
I just beat Nightmare yesterday.
With the right items from the shop, the game can feel as easy as Assisted.
This doesn't apply to the final boss. It was the real nightmare. It took me three days to beat it, and was on the verge of quitting every second.
I didn't have the infinite RL though. I saw on a YT video that two blasts can take him down for you to push the capsules.
Only thing that annoyed me is they got rid of ink ribbons. I loved that added layer of oh crap I can’t save cause I don’t have an ink ribbon feeling
Super helpful video! Thank you!!
Yeah I don’t need this frustration I’ll stay on Hardcore baby mode
Weird why the container was empty, I actually thought it would have 2 hunters, that part was very underwhelming on Inferno.
Seriously, the sounds she makes when those sealed doors open is hilarious
I'm now utterly terrified of my next two runs
I hate that in Inferno/Nightmare difficulty, Nemesis pretty much turns into One Punch Man.
Props for anyone who beat the game on nightmare/inferno mode, i beat it on nightmare which wasnt too hard except the last boss fight..... does any one know if nemy is the same in inferno as in nightmare or is the last fight even harder? Im skeptical to go threw the aggravation
Fresh Prince
Yep he is a lot faster and will kill you with one hit (everything does without coins) and also save rooms are less around so if you die you’re gonna have to do it from the last save.
Stage 3 Nemesis boss fight gave me Drakengard 3 PTSD..
At least you can see what you trying to dodge.
I have beated nightmare now playing inferno
I just bought re3 through the xbox store while it was on sale. Loving every minute of it. I worked to save up points for the infinite ammo rocket launcher, but I notice you're using a shotgun with infinite ammo? How do u get that? Please and thank u lol
I'm stuck in the final boss fight in Nightmare mode. I only have infinite rocket launcher, lightning hawk and bunch of healing items. I am literally shaking in frustration. The Nemesis is really pissed off in that mode. Haven't tried the Inferno mode.
Looks easier than Duke nukem 4 ever
On the harder difficulty levels minus
The one hit kills here .
I got killed two times in a row last night and noted that after that a zombie bite took me to caution instead of danger .---.
one of few things they actually did right. atleast until you reach last boss which is so porly designed in hardest mode
Good video!
I once screwed up on inferno, so I beat final nemesis right, but when I had to shoot nickoli, I had an itch and I missed, I got so pissed, that I had to fight nemesis again, because inferno didn’t have auto save, and it took me 10 tries to beat nemesis, then it took me 15 tries, god inferno was a pain, I then got the platinum trophy for it
Ohhhhh boy..... I have yet to attempt that level, and it definitely raises the doucheiness to the highest caliber to "are ya fucking kidding me!?!"
