I loved how free he became in this scene. With the Moses Sumney music playing over it. Perfect scene

This scene is one that will stay with me until I die. Its power and majesty touched me so deeply I could never properly express it in words, and for it to have been performed by Michael added to its profoundness having already been an admirer of his work while also understanding how insanely important of a scene it was. I am so sad Michael is no longer with us.

Yo he's straight up gay no if ands or butts, I said it from The Wire but this show confirmed it. No heterosexual black man would ever do that scene regardless. However he's in Hollywood so I am not surprised.

IDK....I remember when there was a video of him having a conversation with himself about acting a stereotype. And here he defends yet another emasculation of the black male character in this show. If this is in the book then I'll hold my tongue but if not it's just Hollywood going out of it's way to shove lgbtq in with black issues yet again when they are NOT the same.

He actually grew up around the Ball scene(it’s where he got his scar) so this isn’t very far fetched. We have to remember that representation matters for all. Not just black or queer. Some people live in this world in both of those things. The representation in his role is the intersectionality. There are plenty other characters who don’t fall into that category. Black men should be allowed to be something other than straight without being seen as emasculate. Masculinity doesn’t solely lie in your sexual orientation.
