- Welcome to my let's play series for 7 Days To Die Version 1.0, in this series we will be showing gameplay of the new update. In this episode we head back to the Burnt Forest with our Stun Baton in hand, we take on a couple of quests including Hogzilla featuring Grace, the giant green boar.

what armor and skills you use for better use of the stun baton?
Always nice to see your method. I always seem to slide into the intelligence build no matter how I start the game. I am addicted to robotic turrets. LOL
We'll be having fun with some robotic turrets later in the series no doubt!
Stun baton still my fav. When I get tired of launching them into next week, I will change.
It's a great melee choice!

I was going to say a bit of light cheesing never hurt anyone, but then I guess Grace would disagree.
science for the win! I made myself nerdhat and outfit to get XP boost and boots and cloves give more stamina. I rolling day 6 and made a basic melee base. looking for that baton also. spear is my weapon atm. moving to burnedforest after hordenight.

You should try the stealth build .. i have maxed out agility, have all the books, legendary weapons, armour and OMG ... you can trigger the end fight in T5's crouch ... move back a few meters and all the Z's lose you ... i am able to sprint crouch T5's and stealth everything ... still takes a whole day to complete!!... machete is a beast :) i will try baton build next run :)
I'm definitely going to try all the builds! Interesting that they've made those changes, maybe stealth is viable again!
@@The-Two-Five Only problem is that it is too stealthy ... ok for T1-T4 but on T5 as there as so many Z's hiding in walls and ceilings that do not trigger as you move past you end up not clearing the POI ... i end up taking my clothes of and run around at the end with a shogun trying to trigger the hidden Z;s ...

I need to do another run with the stun baton. Grace reminds me of the story of my aunt walking out into he garage and finding a wild hog the size of a car standing in it they kind of stared at each other for a few seconds and my aunt went back in the house...good thing it wasn't agro like grace and there were no zombies about... other then my cousins.

What skills should i level to increase the chance of finding stun batons ? I lvled int to lvl 10 and electrocutioner to lvl 5. I can craft it but id rather find it rly. No luck soo far tho im on day 8
You're already levelling the right skill - target Mo Power vans and crates. Although this version they are really encouraging us to craft more so it may be easier to just craft one

@@The-Two-Five i got lucky on my crucible... im at 24 workstations ... but i got a crucible for like 9k with bartering helm and cigar XD im really in need of a cement mixer thou... and apparently lockpicking doesnt boost magazines anymore after 15 crafting ... i didnt know so i boosted that for nothing lol
With the stun repulser you don't really need the need tatts,. Due to the knock back from the repulser.
Also don't forget you can use the stun baton to harvest meat with no loss, un less they changed that.
In tier 5 and 6 quests when I'm swarmed by ferals and radiated zombies I 100% plan on using nerd tats over the repulsor. Repulsor is great for small crowds of Zombies, but when the POI's start throwing about 10-20 at a time at you, the nerd tats do a great job of holding them in place and controlling a situation, which is so valuable. So I want the nerd tats stockpiled so I can use them later.
how did you put water in that block? in your base
Craft a bucket with 7 forged iron. Equip bucket on your tool belt and have it in your hand. Walk up to a water source such as a lake. Right click on water source to fill up the bucket. Then pointing at an area you wish to disperse the water, right click and it should empty the bucket out there.

Gear suggestion for stun baton build?
You talking armour? Just whatever suits your play style. I prefer heavy armour myself, the nerd outfit, gloves and helmet are all strong and work well with the intellect build. I like the Nomad boots for the run speed increase too which helps offset the slow down of the heavy armour. Just make sure you put improved or customized fittings in every piece so you move quicker and don't suffer too much of a stamina penalty.

I use to use spear but not any more. Did they buff the baton?
Well maybe but it looks broken like the zombies that climb to sky and get stuck on invisible cars that you already destroyed whats nice is i forgot a loot bag turned off game woke up turned on to see loot bag still there
Baton got mega buffed in Alpha 21. Just not many people seem to know about it. So long as you rush and max out Electrocutioner and Physician stats you'll have a god tier melee weapon. (Look at what levels 4 and 5 of physicican give you) So it hasn't been buffed this update, but it is mega, mega strong if you do the right build for it.
found a level 5 stun baton and dont need to use anything else except on horde nights....

Honestly? Because I've normally switched to a Crossbow and the iron crossbow bolts I've collected along the way by now. Still having the basic bow threw me off, but you're right, I should be using iron arrows by now!
