Are we getting the Android Human Torch? It looked like Cap reignited a fossilized body and it looked like it burst into flames 🔥
It’s most likely the android because Johnny Storm was revealed to be dead in Ultimate Invasion.
The maker's files in Ultimate invasion indicated that he had the torches android brain and johnny storm is dead in this world so I think it's very likely that we are getting the android torch.

I like this new Ultimate Universe. It feels more fantastical than the original grounded one that took the "what if superheroes were real and existed today" approach.
I thought it's central premise was "What If... every superhero but Spider-Man was a massive douchebag?"

@@henrygambles3652 It might be Jim Hammond, the rest of the Fantastic Four are dead and it's possible the Maker kept Hammond around.
That being said it *does* look like a mummified body or corpse so it could very well also be the body of Johnny Storm.

Haven’t been caught up on the comics recently, but super happy to see Ultimate Universe is back. Motivated to start reading again
it's a new ultimate universe started by 1610's The Maker.
Start with Ultimate Invasion and then Ultimate Universe. Then pick up whatever.
So the starting lineup is Iron LAD, Doctor Doom, Thor, Sif, Captain America, and Giant man. an interesting mix of classic and different. (EDIT: AND Wasp!) I somehow missed her on the cover!)
And human torch. Plus possibly, Spider-Man and black panther

Spider-Man isn't so great. They should have picked up where he was still 16 years old. Some great stories could have been made. Now he's "Old Man Spidey." 🤢

@@Batt-man Correct on there being a bunch of teen Spider-Man stories, but changing the original perspective of the Ultimate Universe into this new reality just seems out of place. Its like DC with its 52 mess. That went so well (sarcasm).
In any case, this isn't the 1610 Ultimate Universe timeline, so I will give it a chance seeing as how Reed Richards is the one causing problems. In one instance, they could have made Spider-Woman the lead instead. That could have made a nice new story for the series.

I can decide that for myself, and if I have a small issue with something then I am allowed to speak on it, thanks. Not sure who the "majority of people" you are referring to (maybe old people who grew up in the 60s and 70s), but there are tons of people who enjoy both the teen (Tom Holland) and more adult (Tobey Maguire) Spider-Men. Thats another matter of perspective: people choose what they like and can agree to disagree on it. Seeing how this timeline goes. Have a nice one. 🙂

It almost brings a tear to my eye with how much they are cooking with this new Ultimate Universe! I would NOT be surprised if this was adapted in the MCU after the mutant saga.

I’m guessing that this is all gonna loop around to what we saw in the very first issues that Jonathan Hickman did. Where it showed Kang vs the Maker with his army of ultimate clones. That this Tony is the one who eventually turns into Kang and tries to stop the Maker.
Can't wait to see how they'll handle Ant-Man and the Wasp… didn't enjoyed their relationship in Earth-1610

I honestly would've preferred for ultimate thor go have ultimate mjolnir(the one mcu stormbreaker is based on) but ig a slightly bigger mjolnir is fine too
Mjolnir and storm breaker are separate weapons in the original ultimate universe. Thor got storm breaker after being resurrected on Earth after Ragnarok and later found Mjolnir.

I liked what Deniz Camp did in Children Of Vault, I really want to read his version of the Ultimates.
I was already hyped for this because Deniz Camp's 20th Century Men is a modern masterpiece. But seeing that we're gonna get Hank Pym, Wasp, and the Jim Hammond Human Torch just sent my excitement for this book into the stratosphere!
This summer, the new ultimates will be here, to a local comic book store near you
