The Deep End and Diper Överlöde came to my school library a few days ago and I picked Deep End and read it in the same day and since the library doesnt work on Thursday and Friday am re-reading it till Monday
My favorite is either hard luck or the wrecking ball (I have both of them signed by Jeff Kinney) but otherwise I still like them and the dog days is TOO OVERRATED.
I like this and I agree a lot but the deep end wasn't fresh, it was the same as the last 2 but got progressively worse. The deep end should have been 4 out of 10. big shot was actually a fresh new idea and it was awesome. I give it a 8 out of 10. And 1 last thing, Dog Days was the 3rd best book in the whole series. There was nothing overrated or dull about it, it was just a fun time. Same with No Brainer. Im not trying to be a jerk or anything, these are just my opinion

I am starting to read The Deep End and so far I like it. However, I need to finish it and read 16,17,and 18 to get a full understanding of them so I can know for myself what they are like.
Here’s my weird opinion: 1. Cabin Fever It just has a good story and funny moments 2. The Meltdown The snowball fight at the end was cool and I like the snow theme 3. Hard Luck Everything goes bad for Greg but one good thing happens 💍 4. Rodrick Rules Pretty funny and I like how it’s focused on Rodrick 5. Old School I like the idea of no electricity. Silas scratch was a good monster for Greg to be scared of. 6. The Last Straw I like how Greg tries to build his relationship with his dad. 7. Diary of a Wimpy Kid This is the one that started it all. A lot of the moments are pretty good and funny. 8. Double Down The beginning is boring, but the rest is pretty good. 9. The Third Wheel The beginning was pretty boring, but I like the Valentine’s Day theme. 10. Dog Days The book is just: Greg has a bad summer 11. The Ugly Truth The lock in at the end was interesting. But the rest was boring 12. The Getaway Most of it is just: Greg goes on a vacation and it goes wrong. But I think the spider was pretty cool. 13. The Long Haul This is: Greg goes on a road trip and it goes wrong. But the seagull part was pretty funny. 14. Wrecking Ball Diary of a Wimpy Kid is supposed to be relatable, but this isn’t. Especially the ending. 15. Diper Överlöde It feels like most of this book is in Rodrick’s perspective. But this is supposed to be GREG’S journal, not Rodrick’s Btw, I haven’t read The deep end, big shot, and no brainer.

i agree with you on doawk big shot because a WHOLE 217 pages on sports is BORING and stupid just STUPID but i dont agree with you on "no brainer" it should have been atleast 8/10 it has a cool plot, principal bottoms coming back to gregs school and making a ton of budget cuts is just funny 😂 ( the only flaw in no brainer is the whole "fudge dog" shit which reduced 1 point )
Dog days is a good book it's a summer story. Big shot is alright I like the underdog story although them losing all the time is kind of unrealistic the ending was funny though and no brainer I kind of agree the story is just about how bad the school is and the actual story doesn't happen until the end. The ending itself was pointless I would had preferred the ending being Greg was now popular in the slacksville school and Jeff Kinney could had just continued the story with a fresh new start. I still like no brainer because it's about school but still would had loved to seem Greg interactive with Rowley or bring back old characters since this was the perfect time to add them again. No brainer is a 6/10 for me

The no brainer is the best
