Jim Tyer was well known for his "loose", rubbery animation at several different studios, 'Showbiz'. The difference between him and Paul J. Smith was that, even though Tyer KNEW he was working for a "cheap" producer like Paul Terry, he gave every one of his animation drawings IMAGINATION (his "takes" are legendary)....I suggest you look at some of his comic book art as well.
Both of the murder of ragtime joe and the Lying lion Paul terry 1955has giving a full idea for a pulp story father Louie and the jealous ringmaster but I need a little more time will you please give me that
Thanks you
Originally released in May 1949. Dayton Allen provides the voices; Jim Tyer is the lead animator.
