I really like how quick and concise you are in explaining how you work. So many people have too long of explanations and video rambling.
agreed!
The number one reason I skip a video is the length of time it takes to get to the point. So thank you for your efficient, and excellent, presentations!
Awesome job, as usual!!! 💚
You ok with a helpful hint? I keep pieces of styrofoam on hand so if i need to paint heads of screws, i just stick them into the styrofoam so all heads are facing up. (Be sure to re-use the styrofoam on other projects!)
I do this as well.
This is a perfect introduction for beginners. As someone who has years of experience, I love how easy she made this video to follow.
Yes, oh yes, I'm glad you implied some crucial steps, like taking the hardware off before paint, and brush strokes too. Thumbs up for me, some other cats miss those steps
That is SO sweet you still paid the lady for the dresser.
I’m trying to start restoring and reselling these dressers. This information was vital for me, thank you.
Wishing you all the luck!
Can't stop watching Elysia English. She not only has great ideas and projects but she has an amazing personality and energy that comes across in all her videos. Especially love the trash (dump) to treasures. Wish I had a dump that was as accessible. Keep up the great work
I like the way it turned out. One suggestion is to replace the felt inside the one drawer. Thanks for all your pointers.
Great job but would appreciate info on products used listed in your info area.
Exactly what i was thinking 🤔
The color??? What was the color???
She makes it look easy . Thankyou Elysia
Girl I'm addicted to your channel!!!
love it! thank you!
Thanks so much for these videos!!!!!!
Great tip on pulling brush to the end. I have watched 100s of videos and never saw that!
I love how that turned out.....and that is the exact color I wanted.
Love how you enjoy the process. Wish I could hear you better. I don't want to miss a thing!
. Every piece of furniture that you recycled refurbished is wonderful.
Amazing job and helpful tips! Thank you! ❤
That came out really nice.
Beautiful job love the shade of green
You are blessed with that studio, what an amazing space to work in! This piece you did is absolutely gorgeous.
Never would have thought to use that green but it looks amazing!!! Really made that dresser go from ugly to lovely!!
Ty for being so thorough when explaining the process
Beautiful I want to learn to do this!!
Stunning!! So glad you removed all hardware in advance, its a major pet peeve of mine when people paint over them!!
Sure miss these videos!!!!
Thanks lady ❤
Beautiful piece and the color is so rich!
Thank you so much!
Love that you spray painted the hardware with the screws to make it all match!
Gorgeous!
Looks fantastic
Beautiful.
Looks amazing!
Tip or trick? I stick screws & door knobs in a piece of cardboard head up so that I can spray paint easily. Also avoids any paint build up or problems when reattaching. Especially those that are already somewhat stripped. I can also turn around & get all sides in usually 1 shot.
Angela White me too! Learned this from my hubby after doing it the hard way 😆 But she had so many little screws that it probably would’ve taken longer to do it that way than to just spray it and let them roll around.
Thanks that’s a great idea! Yes I’m responding 2 years later lol
that color paint is really pretty
This turned out beautiful. I also love the color.
Beautiful color choice!
I love how you paint anything like a pro. So easy way.. love it 😍
Very good 👍
I’m so happy you are teaching so much here!!!
Hunter green and black have always been one of my favorite combos. I've upcycled several pieces this way. 💚🤟🌞
My sister did a calwfoot tub to then she painted the outside of the tub with lace. It is beautiful. She did have trouble with the inside of it but she got it with white paint. After 20years she had to redo the inside but the outside still looks great
So nice to finally watch someone who can PAINT properly !! In so many of these furniture flip shows the paint jobs are so slapdash !! I enjoyed you showing us some great tips I redo furniture for my own home but love to see the great creativity
awesome job!

Hi. Nice work and thank you for teaching us along the way.
Maybe in the next video you could also share how you clean the hardware before painting. It is an important step also
I just use the TSP to clean them as I did with the dresser :)
You are so talented, this is fantastic. Love your channel.
My first time watching your video. I'm tackling a dresser while I was looking for a tutorial I ran into yours. I'm painting mine in black. Great job- thank you for sharing.
Thank you for the information about the drawers. And the hardware. I have never used the Minwax. It looks very nice.
Really appreciate the well edited vid. Piece looks great, too😊
Very nice ! I would like to see refinishing a vintage piece of furniture by staining, if possible? Thanks girlfriend you are so talented!
Love this! Do you have a video explaining what to do if the piece you’re refinishing was previously painted? I’m very new to this and have several pieces I want to redo before baby comes in a few months.
Great job!!!
Amazing transformation!
Just beautiful!!! Thanks for all the tips and tricks!!
I'm working with a client of mine and he has some truly beautiful pieces from high end manufacturers. I will be using the info from ur channel to update some of the pieces he has. Xoxo

Thank you for this video. I am about to embark on my first time refinishing a couple of pieces of furniture I’ve had for 15 years, and I am very nervous I will SCREW THIS UP. I appreciate all your tips.
Hi Elysia, I always watch your repainting jobs, and im happy to continue to watch more and more nin future. Nice Green, love this color. Im sorry, i dont know if this video allowed only for lesser or short time, but i got distracted by Elysia talk too fast and couldn't hear what she says but i can understand by looking at the video. Forgive me for pointing this out. Most of us here is learning and its importance to speak clear to share the information and experience.
Either read in clear or share in the note/description area. Best of luck Elysia!!
Gorgeous I love it.
Great tips for painting furniture. Thank you Elysia 😆
I just found you I appreciate your work, I don't care for the green but I loved the outcome of the project.
This was great! I think o can do this I have a great cabinet I bought at pier 1 but the color is all wrong for my new home.
Thank you so much for this! I have so many pieces I want to do. Thank you for sharing your info with us!
Thank the gods! Finally someone who knows the importance of cleaning a piece, removing the hardware, removing the doors and draws and taping off BEFORE painting. Having watched others painting furniture on UA-cam, and shaking my head at their stupidity, I'm here to cheer this lady! Someone who knows what she's doing!
Gorgeous!!!!!!
You are amazing!! You’ll definitely hit that 1mil subscriber mark in no time!!
Beautiful! Stellar job!🙏🏻🇺🇸🙏🏻
