Friday of the 7th Week of Eastertide
Agape Love
While Jesus was asking if Peter loved Him in a sacrificial way, Peter replied that he loved Jesus in a brotherly way. If we too cannot love Jesus as He does (with agape love), Jesus will take the kind of love we have for Him and deepen it. In this way, He enables us to follow Him in the way He loves.
