You didn’t include where Kingston will be located and expected timing to start and finish the development. Plus what price range will the homes be in? Thanks.
I recently moved to the Place and the traffic is already a serious problem on Corkscrew. These 10K homes will make traffic intolerable unless its 4 lanes all the way across to where it connects to this new develepment. This is overbuilding and the market will collapse soon. This is builders out of control as it is slso taking land from the panthers. Besides its too far from the beach and who wants to really live this far away just to say you live in FL. We are looking to buy a house but have decided we dont want to live on Corkscrew because of this too large development of look alike homes with cheap internals.
Luxury homes that are not affordable for working class families. Serving your own interests and perpetuating a trend that Burdens long-standing residents to pay for urban sprawl.
Destroying rural community and agricultural capacity. Fueling overevaluation in the market as citrus ag lands through conversion condemn us to an unsustainable future.
Well, our land began as forest but humans don't want to live in forest. Anywhere can be designated as environmentally sensitive, and compromise must be made to accommodate both humans and animals, you simply cannot have everything without giving up something. It's important at the very outset to set aside big enough patches of viable environments for native species to live on, at the same time doing something necessary to relieve the pressure in housing supply. It's really a balancing act. The key is to be honest with our own need and not to over correct an undesirable condition, or overdo housing development purely for the sake of profit.
Great news looking forward to some more amazing communites. Estero is quickly becoming the best community to live in America.

Although this development is off East Corkscrew, It is not within the Village of Estero. This is in unincorporated Lee County.

The location is approx 10 miles east of I-75 on Corkscrew Rd. They will break ground in 2023 but no info yet on pricing.
The Romans’ built roads quicker than the construction of Corckscrew rd. hang your heads in shame

Sounds like it’s a great thing you rented first. Where else are you considering?
Do we really want to make it easier for Lehigh trash to come our neighborhoods?

I agree with you. That's valuable input and I believe is the right way to address growth.
