I really miss it back when Dennis would make completely difference paint scheme just for the anniversary’s. I loved the 30th anniversary green and purple bodies and the 25th anniversary silver body.
I grew up watching Grave Digger n the 2000's and the truck still blows my mind cause all new drivers fans freestyle memorabilia plus the greatest thing happened 2 Dennis retirement so he can sit on the sidelines and watch his kids do it another plus 1st female driver for Grave Digger Kristen Anderson.
Liked the idea in the beginning a lot, bit I kind of lost it at the end. If you atleast do that, please let all the trucks freestyle since that's what I feel a grave digger encore needs. Probably won't happen tbh, but Ideas are Ideas
I will never forget the Grave Digger Legend I started watching monster trucks from the beginning in 1982 Tom Chandler modified a Ford F-250 yes Bigfoot is the grandfather of monster trucks so I always rooted for a chevy to change to game, then Dennis Anderson came on the scene with a beat up 52' Ford pickup taking names one race after another I asked myself he must a Chevy drivetrain, then a few years later he finally beat up that big Ford 1986 in ST. Poodle Minnesota I attended at 19 year's old that day I found my favorite truck & driver thankyou and congratulations Dennis for 40 years of blood sweat & mudd slinging awesomeness you, your family, mechanics, all Digger drivers ect. made we fans love you, if I may honest hear that's how Legend's are made, I'm an rc enthusiast with both Losi LMT'S, KS & BH on smt10 chassis & all the different spinmaster Grave Digger's still in their packaging hung in our den my wife also loves rc & Monster Jam, I gotta say for me your greatest victory was having children that love what you gave them "opportunities" good job Dennis you're a good pop's in my book 💚👍
There are Grave Digger fans that criticized the 40th Anniversary paint scheme a bit lazy... If I was a designer for Grave Digger, I would add a lot of creativity of it and add a little spice.

i really wish they would put dennis in a normal truck or even his own king sling truck, but i do understand hes getting old.. cant imagine how hard hes gonna send the XL truck though
Son uva digger wasn’t in the 30th anniversary encore... nor was it in the 35th anniversary encore. So it is unlikely to be in this one. Son uva digger doesn’t technically count as a grave digger truck despite being part of the same team. That’s why son uva digger always competes alongside a box standard grave digger each season.
Well at least the red primer truck is coming back. I'm also excited to see the previous anniversary schemes again. Otherwise this is nothing special. Jumping over other trucks isn't cool anymore.
