Aquarius people need understanding. Not just for you to understand them, but for them to understand you. It’s important in a relationship with an Aquarius to be open and honest as hard as it may seem because they already have a feeling about what’s up. If you feel any type of way communication is key to us. Without it YOU are setting YOURSELF up for failure. If you think you’re fooling us, you aren’t. As an Aquarius adult I can find commonality in some of these thoughts about Aquarius. However, it is important to note that Aquarius people have a lot of empathy. We are empaths by nature, so we understand and feel other peoples emotions. This does something tricky with a very logical mind; sometimes we are lost in emotion and cry, and sometimes we fight off the emotional outburst and think of the bigger picture. It’s important to understand that all people are complex and oftentimes have an inner struggle with opposites. Logic and emotion are opposite each other. When you combine them they completely take one another out just like opposite colors on the color wheel. This is why no one can really say how a person feels just by knowing their astrology or even their history. People often times react the way we think they will, but sometimes they come to a different conclusion based on outliers and we should be mindful of that. Nothing is set in stone, and many people aren’t who you think they are. You know the old adage, “you can’t judge a book by its cover”, well that applies to how you physically see a person, along with how you view their mental state and how you see them emotionally in the moment vs long term. You cannot simply make a judgement on a person by one moment, otherwise you are ignorant to the possibilities of the person in question. You don’t choose how people act or think and you cannot decide for them based on a chart that hasn’t been proven as valid by any scientific community. If Aquarius people are often viewed as “aloof” or “unemotional” it’s because we prefer to find a solution rather than be bound by emotion on a certain subject matter. If we seem overly obstinate or controlling it’s because we know we are right about something. We always admit our wrongs if we genuinely feel there is a wrong done. We see the bigger picture so you don’t have to and come up with solutions you wouldn’t have within a small timeframe. We are innovative and always looking for a better way to JUST BE. No, we aren’t overly interested in your emotional drama, but we will support people that mean something to us. If you have something to offer to a community, you should be there to bring that to the team. And yea, if you don’t, I don’t have time for you. If you’re overly emotional I won’t want to be around you because you make me feel your emotional distress. We are empathic remember? It’s not that we don’t care, it’s JUST TOO MUCH TO FEEL SOMETIMES. And in no way with everything we have going on in OUR OWN LIVES are we going to just let someone pour all their problems into our empathetic space. That clouds our ability to think properly and move forward. Aquarius people get a bad wrap but you just don’t understand why we don’t want to be emotional with you. When you feel everyone’s emotions you tend to want some space. Just let us be and stop trying to drag us down because you’re butt-hurt you didn’t get what you wanted from us. We don’t get what we want from other signs, BUT YOU DON’T HEAR US COMPLAINING so please just realize we’re only different. That’s it. You don’t have to like our differences but you should understand them.

I am an aquarius and my EX husband is also an aquarius and his darker side ruled him almost all the time, he was actually abusive controlling and an alcoholic, hence the reason why he is my ex
Yeah i can actually see that as being a future problem because ...my Aquarian is extremely moody and i really think in my case that i would make a very huge mistake dealing with him and if anyone thinks I'm being Unfair my ex fiance also was Aquarius and I thought long and Hard these past days a period of 2-3 days and now after reading your comment. This is true I have a younger brother who an Aquarius is narcissistic emotionally manipulative and has a major problem with violence against females he caused me to have a seizure
I just broke up with mine who was controlling and abusive too. He also drank as well. January 31st was his birthday.
Im an Aquarius with ADHD been diagnosed with a hyperactive brain, and yeah I can be very focused but the hyper active brain pulls me from my thoughts so often it makes it hard to finish things I start that take a long time.

That’s weird because I have a Leo daughter whom everyone loves and is an amazing daughter and mother to my at granddaughters. I also dated a Gemini attorney for a year and he was the kindest most thoughtful man and treated me like a queen even though he was a personal injury attorney. He’s law firm was in downtown Los Angeles and was very busy with a ton of cases and court appearances but was always kind, generous and treated me like a queen. I also was in a very intense relationship with an Aquarian man for 2 years. He’s my last relationship and I am still traumatized by him. He was kind and thoughtful at first but after moving in with me (I didn’t realize he was planning on ghosting me with his boss lady who bought them a house 2 states away and lied to me about their relationship) he ghosted me after being with me for 2 years) I had no idea he had flown with his boss to another state where she bought them a house to move to! He lied and told me he was going on a business trip but he actually never came back. He was too big a coward to tell me his boos lady bought them a house when he secretly flew to Oregon with her. He eventually ghosted me when I found she documented their entire move to Oregon (which he was too big a coward to tell me). I only know about it because I found her Facebook page and she was gloating about their amazing relationship and her house she bought for them! This is why people hate Aquarius people. They only care about themselves and are emotionally unattached even when they do live with you and tell you they “appreciate” you. He never once told me he loved me even after movibg in with me. he was just using me till he moved with boss lady because she was rich and would buy him a house and pay him a salary. Aquarians are cold and calculated. They have a bad reputation because they only care about what they can get out of a relationship. Even when they treat you great it’s all calculated for what they’ll get back from their generosity. Dated two of them and they both ended exactly the same one when I was 20 for 3 years and one at 60 and lived with for 2 years. Everything Aquarians do they do is calculated for the ROI, return on investment 😢they just don’t get it. I’ll never get involved with another Aquarian man. I love and respect myself too much to go through their hell again.

I just do it, because I just don't care. if it means getting to the goal, im for it.
My father is an aquarian. And like you, he is inclined to the scientific parts of the world. He’s very experimental and methodical and really tidy with his work. But many times he couldn’t finish them, as another project would catch his interest.
Very different from the Aquarian guy I dated. Unlike most of the population, he is not bound by relationship labels. I could feel he cared, a lot and he shows it in many different ways, but words. Words that I longed so much to have heard from him. And his lack of sense of responsibility when it comes to communication. He would not message in a week, or 2. The last straw was no communication for a month! In the end, I couldn’t settle for the kind of relationship that he offers. I loved him, but heck, it wasn’t enough!

Please try to understand that Aquarius men are often times not present emotionally as a verbal working. We tend to show you how much we love you instead of verbalizing it. You need to think less of how you perceive other peoples emotions and more about how they display them. You already said he we showing love. Why can’t you just accept it? Maybe take some time to think about you own self and stop thinking about the reactions you want to receive. You don’t get to choose how others act or react toward you, You only get to choose how YOU act and react to others. Maybe one day you’ll find peace, and I pray it’s not after he passes because you obviously need closure on this specific problem. If you don’t love him anymore that’s your own issue, but as an Aquarius I know he will be confused and upset about the loss of your love for the rest of his short life. He might move on, but he will never lose the feeling of loss. If you can get online to complain you can go talk to him about this. You alone control how you personally feel about a person and you alone can find the peace you seek. My father abandoned me when I was born because he was married with a child and although he was separated from his wife we wanted to be a manslut. I grew up knowing I didn’t know my father and when I found him at 26 years old I was let down. I knew deep down he may not want me since he didn’t want me at conception or birth. I still wanted to try. He lied to me and said he wasn’t my father and then came clean a week later after my mother got involved. He rejected me more and then he said I couldn’t tell my siblings I existed. He told me I was untrustworthy for wanting to know my family and reaching out to them. I was supposed to never be talked about or heard of. Wow, talk about a real depressor. I wasn’t allowed to exist to them. I know nothing of medical or my indigenous American history Because he won’t let me. You think your dads bad? Let me tell you about the dad I had that whipped my bare body in the shower with a belt, striking my back. I was only 4 years old and I remember it like yesterday. How about when I didn’t have a home? You wanna relive that with me? I’m sick of people acting so upset of the smallest things and blaming something else. Your father loves you. It’s obvious. Don’t you EVER act like you had a terrible childhood with your father because he didn’t verbally say what you wanted him to. You are spoiled and rotten. The facts are that you can’t understand something you don’t have any experience with. And maybe that’s why you don’t succeed in understanding fixed signs. If you could just… oh, I don’t know… transcend to being capable of understanding literally the simplest of things, you might be able to comprehend us. It’s not hard. We are emotionally combative with our intellectual side. That means we have a lot of emotions and don’t understand them. We understand a lot of other things, but oftentimes not why we feel the way we feel. Being an empath and an intellectual being isn’t easy. Sometimes you just have to realize we are super smart but incapable of understanding why we are so emotional about something that has nothing to do with us. It’s called empathy. We happen to be one of the most empathic and intellectual sign, go figure. We share all the traits of the signs and therefore have more to offer than you can understand. It’s not your fault, it’s just not in your nature as a non Aquarius. No shame, but you should educate yourself and really watch how you interact with other people to make sure you know what you’re dealing with. Without the Aquarius you would all be lost. If we built a city of Aquarius people we would have the most intellectually designed, emotionally removed society the world has ever known. Also maybe the most emotionally volatile community ever. The reason is; that behind all the unemotional logical decisions we make there are thousands of emotional consequences lying in wait we all know will take place if we don’t do the right thing. Good question. For me it’s not so much for no reason rather that I’ve exhausted all other options. For me that means I’ve tried direct communication, third party arbitration, listening to the other side and providing potential solutions that go ignored or disregarded for whatever reason. Eventually i shut down and shut out. And then when said person asks me, why are you upset or acting different, I laugh and exit stage left. It shows me my opinions or feelings on said issue are irrelevant. And the solutions provided are not considered or taken seriously. Sometimes on lesser issues I just need time to recharge and rethink or revisit the issue on my own… alone… There’s so many aspects to any one situation that it’s impossible to consider them all in the moment. I tend to look for the meat and bread of the issue or the root of the problem. And once I have a better understanding I’m more open to revising the terms of the relationship. I can’t speak for all Aquari but that’s at least the answer for me. I hope this helps.
