Haha found this video while on a coffee break. Working as a maintenance guy at a mall and there was this one slide door stuck. After inspecting it I realized the right door was open and left locked, thus making this situation the doors would not open (a small push, left door didn't move at all, right did a little) . Gave the mall guard call and he had forgotten to open the lock. Walked around the parking hall, into the elevator and down. Opened the lock and now its working again xD
If you stand in the door and it closes and crushes you, will it hurt? I was at work and someone was standing the door and it closed and crushed them and I saw but I don’t know how strong it closes, or how much force it closes with
It's not do you see a sticker that in emergency push to open on the panic bar? When. You push the panic bar the SX panel the SX panel breaks out. This has always been a industry standard for over 10 years for Stanley and most other automatic door manufacturers🤦🏻♂️😂
Hello, The solenoid lock only locks the sliding action of the door. So, speaking only to sliding motion: If the lock is “Fail-Secure” and the door loses power, you can’t just walk up and pry the door apart with your hands. If the lock is “Fail-Safe” and the door loses power, you can just walk up and pry the door apart with your hands. Thank you very much! Literally thought the electric doors were dead from where I work at, but thankfully, I check this video for instructions.
I always have a question but there is no answer: how do the employees lock the door when the shop close if the door will open when they get close ?
Did all of this and double checked that door was not set to one way; but door only opens to leave and not for people coming in
I plan on putting this in my house
That would be so cool, wish I could :C
Why am I watching this, I don't even own STANLEY Automatic Sliding Doors...

Most don’t close with allot of force, it shouldn’t hurt at all honestly
Sir I need some trouble for automatic glass door can you help me
Seems like this could be a death trap depending on where the next door is located in a fire and of course the type of door itself

How do the panic bars not hit stationary panels
Very helpful ! Thank you !
Red light is on sensor door stays open.
Sometimes the door randomly opens at night but Noone is nearby
Great video
Um the automatic doors open when no ones there
Um It's means obviously there's a problem with one of your sensors...
Perhaps not obvious to everyone ass hole.
What if the electronic lock (fail secure) is installed?
