Odlican video i dobro objasnjeno! 👍 It's interesting that in the past 20 years car locks are overcome with electronic protection. On the other hand door locks stayed almost the same.
I was thinking about picking this lock with normal picks. But it seems a fiddly to me. Nice to see you picking it this way. Alot of locks can be picked with standard picks. Have you tried zipping this lock as I have had some luck with zipping slider locks.
I'm not quite sure what's going on with these locks - are the sliders pushed towards the middle? ... in that case, wouldn't zipping put them the wrong way?
@@Swynndla Well I think if I zip the top...the bottom sliders get picked and if I zip the bottom the top one get picked. Yes I think they move towards the middle similar to wafer locks. I wonder if there is some confusion in the community of what a inner groove water lock is and a slider lock is. They might look similar via the keyway.
How did you manage to slide the cylinder out if that is not the correct key? I thought it would bind inside the lock mechanism if all the wafers were not retracted?
@@GordonWlocksport I know but lock sharing is my way of locksport community appreciation 😉🍻👍 I think one of them fits VW, plc contact me on Discord or mail or some other way 👌
Nice picking! - thanks for show this, it was very interesting! :D :D So those cuts you showed on the sliders, what are those? ... are they the false gates?
@@SasPes Potti showed one for a bike lock recently too. I wonder what's going on with this. Obviously it works, so I'm not complaining. But wafers aren't as secure as true sliders.
Thank you for sharing. I would love to see more of car locks picked and gutted. Awesome job!
Thanks Greg 🍻
greg the vice me too... I wish I could get some car locks to have a go

Wafers are not preventing the core to slide 🙂 on the back of the lock there is a C-clip that is preventing the core to slide out

Ah ok. Must be more corrosion/dirt in there then. I'll leave it in a jar of cleaner overnight then. Thanks.
Amazing job picking and gutting that slider lock!! Is it possible to rekey the lock to match the key? Happy pickings!!
Thanks 👍 and yes 😉
Great picking 🇬🇧👍🥊
Thanks Gordon 🍻
SasPes I’d like to get into car locks a little bit.. I have an hu66 rake and hu92 Lishi pick that we’re gifted to me.. but no locks to try them on!
@@GordonWlocksport I will send all my car locks to you, please contact me via Discord or mail 😉
SasPes I honestly weren’t hinting but a few locks would be great.. do you know the locks the hu66 and hu92 fit?

Thanks 🍻 yes they are false gates, catching and acting more or less like false set 😉
Im subscriber #666 lol
😁👍🍻
So it's actually a wafer lock using a slider key.
Yes, I was confused like you but is called slider lock for some reason 😁
