To my own surprise, I’ve seen ~300 live opera performances in the theater, but last week’s Forza was my first time for that opera. The chorus was magnificent, and so were the soloists.

If Lise Davidsen sang a legato line half as well as the Met male chorus, the Le Vergine would be great.
