I enjoy your vids because I to am a newb so seeing your videos from a beginners perspective gives me more confidence knowing there are other riders out there with the same limited skill level doing it! I'm on a 23' KTM 1290 SAR and intimidated as heck but that's what I got so that's what I'm learning on. At the end of this month I will be doing the WYBDR. Good luck to me 😅 Cheers from Denver Colorado
@@co4x4 First off thats a heck of a bike! It will be amazing on all those fast dirt roads. I think WY would be a great BDR to start on and I think you're gonna have a blast!! If you ever ride over to the western slope let me know!
2nd favorite. Got my feet wet near Beauna Vista cause I went left into the bush in the middle of the water you skipped. Otherwise, the HOV area was great. Made it through the Hagerman water without getting my feet wetter. There was snow close to the top when I was there. Committing to your line is key and there were 2 to choose from most of the way. Don't like Wetherman's(?) pass either. Long Day!
Great vid. Looked like a fantastic ride. Wish we had something like that in Illinois.
@@Squatch_Rider66 they are working on a Michigan BDR

@@jameserskine9980 I did alright with my Alpinestars boots. So didn’t have to worry about too much water contact. Are you gonna do another BDR?
Yes I would like to. Btw Enginer and Hurricane were my favorite. Cinnamon too. But that is in the next video.
You should have used a 2022-23 KTM 1290R where you can dial in your degree of off road in really.
@@carlossheppard1745 someday I will have a 1290 R but it seems like I might have to wait for the new 1390 R to come out.
Did you do this with Colorado Motorcycle Adventures?
That I did!
