Blizzard isn't quite done justice without showing it in combat, as the main effect of the blizzard line (that being the giant eff-off ice crystal) doesn't actually trigger unless it hits an enemy.
I feel like KH is actually a bit lacking in the magic variety. Why aren't there any buff spells, spells to create obstacles in the terrain for the enemy, or spells to manipulate enemy position? Something like a "magnetize" spell would be amazing, making one enemy turn into a magnet that pulls others into it so your AOE magic and abilities can shine.
I don't feel like y'all actually played KH, specifically KH3 because this one's a KH3 magic showcase. Buff spells : Water (KH3) gives you split second i-frames when casting it, so does Cure with Leaf Bracer, Aero (KH1) is a defensive wind barrier Terrain obstacles/position manipulators: Aero (KH3) has a swirling wind effect after the initial tornado when you cast it, that keeps enemies in it spinning, and yes, you can, say, manipulate where you put the Aero spell, say, below a falling enemy. How? Stop using Magic Lock-on. KH3 Thunder has a pretty big AOE, you know? Also, Magic forms change alongside with weapon forms. Shooting Star comes to mind, with Dual Guns and Launcher formchanges. Comes with a Magic Galvanizer for extra magic damage too.
Are you always thought Kingdom of hearts magic from Kingdom of hearts 3 was my favorite especially since you can move around wow using the magic unlike Kingdom of hearts 2 and especially one even though one had more magic you could use
KH Speedrunners: Kingdom Hearts (3) is Fire. Joke aside, I think it’s based on their unique gimmicks rather than an element being outright better than the previously unlocked.
Each element has tiers. Fire is the basic spell, fira is stronger and firaga is the strongest, if you don't count firaza, but its not an equipable spell.
I love Aeroga's sound effect. Like the air is so heavy and dense that it sounds like a freaking turbine.

This is more of a KH3 problem, kh2 had magnet and reflect, KH had aero and antima, and most of the spin off have some kind of ground control commands

Couldn’t spot any difference in animation for Fire and Blizzard spell levels though
their primary difference is on impact with enemies, the explosions are larger and more impressive

Fire is op in kh2 especially in final or master form easy stun lock on most boss or food wave clear.

You'll get Thunder once you beat the UFO in Toy Box. The other Thunder upgrades (Thundara/Thundaga) you get on Arendelle and The Caribbean :)
