Which is why I was expecting a little bit more from this palette (especially for $59). Jackie had to dig into that red more than 7 times and that black did not want to make an appearance at all. Palette was a little lackluster, imo.

Mama Jackie you ain’t gon believe it! I attend an HBCU and my professor was talking about colorism and its development and how it still persist today. All the girls pointed out how it persist throughout makeup. So, all the girls nominated your UA-cam videos to teach him about foundation and the lack of representation for all melanated skin tones out there. It’s his homework assignment and he is supposed to watch 2 of your foundation videos and tell us what he learned next class.

For all the people mad about the k shape, points to prove that it's ridiculous for your anger:
• It's flat
• It's smaller than James Charles palette and most of the people complaining probably own that or want it
• It's easy to put in a stand up divider
• If you lay it flat in a drawer it can very easily be stacked below or on top of other palettes since the angles of the k would be quite supportive
• The angles of the K I mentioned form 3 triangles which in architecture 3/triangle structures are the strongest bases for building hence why you're rectangular palettes wouldn't be slipping and sliding around

I love that you gave this pallette a fair chance without being bias. I'm in the group "Makeup for Real Black Women" on Facebook and though their are a few positive and supportive women in the group.
