It is really good despite all the shit that’s wrong with it, that’s why I put 25 hours in and finished it despite bullshit like this happening constantly. It’s good, could’ve been great
Not shocking, my biggest regret with blasphemous is that I defintiely played it way too early. Day one download for me and the game was just clearly in no condition to be played when it was released. I want to replay it some day and hopefully improve my opinion of it
The platforming is still fundamentally broken all throughout and it's like 60% of the gameplay. I'd refund this game if I didn't get it with a humble bundle.
It is a shame the platforming isn’t as refined as it could be, given the long development time. I’m hoping they do some significant patching - it feels like there’s a truly great game under all the wonkyness
@@uncle_vatred It's been two years and they are a small team, not a big company. I think they will patch some fixes, however, so folks shouldn't be turned off by this. Game is still pretty good.
Blue Spaceman ehhh I mean, I’d have preferred they held the game back longer and really fine tuned it than have released something that clearly needed a bit more time in the oven. Like I get that it’s a small company and everything, and on a visual level the game is a fucking masterwork There’s lots of good and I’m not trying to downplay what they achieved with Blasphemous, nor am I saying people shouldn’t play it. The exact opposite actually. It’s 100% worth playing even with the flaws. But, the flaws are there. Even for the smallest company ever, there’s no excuse for a platformer to have platforming THIS wonky.
The game is really good. You can't play

My words: you gonna regret what you thought that day
AVGN should be reviewing this.

Honestly this kills the game for me
