Me too. Tried several builds and this one beat the King at first try. I use different chest armour, I equipped Sol's spaulders of courage and different hilts.
Not only is this a useful build but your technique when it comes to attacking is awesome! Just normal moves being used in smart ways. No crazy gimmicks or tough button combos. Thanks for the help!
Amazing! I was being destroyed by King Hrolf. The closest I got was about 80% health, and that was a one off. I tried this setup and it took me three goes, very nearly finishing him off on the first attempt. Crazy how a slightly different setup can have such a huge impact.

This build rocks. Before that I tried different options and couldn't beat King Hroff for 3 days. Now it took me 6 minutes. Valkyrie Queen with the same build 8 min the first time. Setting auto-heal is the whole secret of success. Thanks again for this build.

Thanks for the build it was just what I was after, I tried 2 other builds on different pages and they were okay, this build was the bomb - Beat him on second try (first time was getting used to using different runic attacks and relic etc) amazing i was pretty much 90% health up until the final minute of the fight, so happy after trying for over a week.

@@akhafasu also killed GNA in about 10 try's, went real aggressive, this setup was good for my play style, hit'em hard and often. A lot of shield really helped, now ready for New +. Thanks again.
Took 2 days trying to beat him and hands were hurting and finally beat him on 2nd time with this build! Lifesaver! The vitality was the key. I was able to get Platinum. Still have to dodge a lot which I practiced a bit based on the first portion of your video. Thank you because I almost gave up.

Wow. I cannot praise this build enough. After trying for a week to kill Gna and the Beserker King, this build helped me defeat both so much easier/so much less time. If you’re having problem with them, use this build and you will kill then both in no time

Saved me 10 hours or so...I played on Give me no mercy and tried a lot of different builds, but this one on 4rd attempt gave me a win. I changed relic to 9 realms and also shield just a parry and stun the king. Thx 🎉
Well done man! I basically used the same setup.....but was all about spear.....with a sprinkle of blades. Didn't use the lev. axe once. Anything "realm shift" was a big help! Literally jumped for joy when I killed this mo fo to get the platinum! :)
Thanks so much for this! After multiple failed attempts using heavy strength builds with tricky combos, I kept it simple with your build and beat him (and Gna) in the first attempt. I followed most of your build with a few tweaks (furious mall grip for the axe and wrath rage combined with talisman of meign). I would not suggest this build for regular gameplay but these end game bosses were much harder than others and in such situations, Defence is the best form of offence :) Thanks again ✌🏽

Hey just wanted to say thanks for the video, with my build, the least energy he had left was always around 3 bars, died several times. With your build up with the Berserker Stone, I beat him first try. Most videos don't show the build and equipment, so that's a huge plus, it also made me understand how the stats work better than I thought. Even though I'm about to get the Platinum, I'll set my build up better for another playthrough in the future. Thanks Again.

That’s impressive dude but I won’t use the berserker armour because of soulless warrior. I do tend to cock up my parries sometimes and if that perk is activated I get owned

@@akhafasu I have the steinbjorn plackart, raven tears bracers and surtrs scorched girdle equipped and I’m gear towards realm shift and storm of bifrost. I attempted him tonight for the first time and almost killed him. He had one bar left but then I panicked and he battered me. Still he does seem to be easier than Gna. That took me about 50 tries before I beat her 🤣

I followed this build and the only I change is the wrist and waist. The runic also I take on "damage" attack and.........I activate the miniboss checkpoint (such a disappointment). I'm glad to beat this boss...felt so great a bit tho.
Oh I spent countless hours in bearing him and GNA but did not watch any videos till then. Feels good to do is on your own. Though, looking at these builds make me wonder why I didn't think this way.

Build worked on my first try. I only swapped out the Onslaught Shield for the Stone Wall for better protection against yellow ringed attacks.

That’s impressive dude but I won’t use the berserker armour because of soulless warrior. I do tend to cock up my parries sometimes and if that perk is activated I get owned
@@m1k3yb98 I see. I used to be like that too. But then I was like screw it, I’m going to learn how to parry lol. But yes, see what works best with your play style. I might do a couple more videos over the weekend on high defense + realm shift and auto heal.
@@akhafasu I have the steinbjorn plackart, raven tears bracers and surtrs scorched girdle equipped and I’m gear towards realm shift and storm of bifrost. I attempted him tonight for the first time and almost killed him. He had one bar left but then I panicked and he battered me. Still he does seem to be easier than Gna. That took me about 50 tries before I beat her 🤣

I followed this build and the only I change is the wrist and waist. The runic also I take on "damage" attack and.........I activate the miniboss checkpoint (such a disappointment). I'm glad to beat this boss...felt so great a bit tho.
