The Wilson Effects This Is The Art is a wildly versatile distortion and overdrive box, designed to cover a broad swath of sonic territory, from gentle grit and refined crunch, to super scooped thrash tones. Its Shape control is the key to this versatility, dramatically sculpting the mid-range frequencies to suit. Treble and Bass knobs offer further fine-tuning abilities, while the Mod switch engages red LED clipping for a bigger, more dynamic sound with tons of headroom. This Is The Art is excellent on bass as well, with extended bottom end and powerful tone carving capabilities that allow the bass to sit perfectly in the mix. This demo starts with a full-band musical number, wrapping up in a functionality deep-dive where I turn knobs and flip switches so you can hear what's happening with this monster.
