Follow along with me as I walk you through the design process & reveal of our Kinwoven offices in Tulsa! This was a fun project for me and Sharrah to collaborate on for our amazing Kinwoven team. It doesn't matter how much space you have, you can create a comfortable & beautiful environment in your workplace! We believe it increases productivity and our team loves it!

After over 20 years I'm now working from home. It's great! The one thing I do not like is the work doesn't stop coming and everyone now expects immediate returns and place more demands as if I can produce more than before. I miss leaving work on time daily.
Unrequeated advice.. my team is 50% remote and I have been remote 15 years. I have my "office hours" on outlook and I shut down my laptop. I also refuse to put work email or Teams on my personal cell. I start early and when a person schedules a 5pm call, I decline and propose a 7:30am. People learn quickly. Block your out of office hrs daily. Exceptions should be exceptions. Be bold and blessed in all you do.Hope this helps.

@@lettyhuber1406 Thanks for the swift kick in the butt Letty! I needed that. I’m just like @D.D. Jones, after 20 years and finally able to work from home. I need to set boundaries and expectations. I’m usually at my computer until midnight just because. I’ve been trying to shut my computer down at 6:30. I’ll def make more of an effort.

WOW! I love this space so much. Now I want to add these elements in my office.
HAHA! I am single also and, Yes! of course I take the corner spot on my sectional. But after 5 months of chemo and A LOT of hanging out at home there is a ditch in my corner spot now. But I am done with that and feeling better, and not spending nearly as much time in the corner these days. I LOVE your designs and your personality! Keep up the great work XOXO!!💖

Working remotely is th best choice for families, lessening the carbon footprint, conserving resources, everything!

Offices always seem to be a challenge but I really like the way you made it feel homey uncluttered and unclaustrophobic.

Interior decorating has been my dream since childhood.
Tip for the frame TV . Find screensaver/ wallpaper on UA-cam. Same effect on plane TV
I do this too and then play better music via my sound bar than offered on the UA-cam channel. I do this for every party or gathering. Perfect hack for the TV!

Beautiful transformation of the space and love that you were able to fit 5 separate individual workspaces around a simple L shaped divider - now that's ingenuity! I'd just be a little afraid of bumping into the spokes extruding from the L. Love the funnies at the end!

Great job on the office. The cozy lounge spot is wonderful. It shows you care about the comforts of your employees. I've been working from home since 2013. I've learned an office is best suited away from the kitchen or other noise centers of the home. Also locating the office away from everything helps your mind switch between work and home mode.

I’ve been working remotely since 2016 and LOVE it! Meetings are done with our webcams and it works perfectly! Always enjoyed your videos on inspirations for our home. Would enjoy deep dives on home offices, thanks for always sharing your creative talent!
Fabulous how you did the office, your team is very lucky to have you to make their workspace a good place to be! It takes a designer to think of using that slatted wall to create spaces that aren’t claustrophobic, and the cosy sofa are is terrific. Are we going to see more of your work again now? I hope so!

Remote working was difficult at first - now can’t go back - love the balance now a day week in office, homework the rest 💕👏🏽💕😀
Great design.
At start of pandemic worked 15 months at home. Gradually transitioned back to office starting 2 days a week and now up to 4 with 1 at home. Definitely mental adjustments on both fronts.

Alright so happy to see you guys all up and running that's a beautiful office I'm glad you're reposting things from the house and your future home love it I just wanted to add I thought some beautiful floor to ceiling shears shears would really soften the whole thing and make it more elegant I know you know that I know you know it's a workspace but softening the edges is always the kind of thing that your jobs show attention to the smallest sweet spot enjoy enjoy growing grow
I was working remotely prior to Covid, got laid off in 2020 and just got hired this past May and am fully remote. Love it soooo much!
Did a good job with such a small space. From my perspective as a Designer for 40+ years, I'd space the three large canvases with a panel in between each, and I'd make the corner extensions on the slat walls shorter, as there's already a lot of movement going on with the slats in general, and the extensions look like a lethal design feature.

Love your new office! I work from home now since covid, love it! Go into office for special events. But have the option of moving to any state we operate in. Right now I'm outside Deaver Colorado. And I get the corner spot on our sectional, lol. But I share with my grandkids! Love Kinwoven! Take care!

Nicely done Rebecca. That office space looks bright and airy as well as thoughtfully divided. The wood on that wall is most likely beech regarding the grain. Oak is a lot more "silent" in grain.
By the way i love the monitor elevations that are placed everywhere. The physical therapist in me loves good ergonomics.

I own a frame tv and love it! The tv is part of a gallery wall.
