I just got some slider skates , my plate has the bar in the middle of the trucks , is that bad? Because I see a lot of people using the low ride plates and they seem to be moving easier , which ones are better?
Awesome welcome to the club lol. In regards to the plate it is not bad if you have the bar in the middle of your trucks. Loride plates definitely put you lower to the ground and in my opinion gives me more control. It is really personal preference and what makes you comfortable! 😊

How do you slow down/stop on fibers? Do you just have to put way more pressure than normal with any type of stops such as t stops?
I typically just drag my toe and allow my shoe to stop me, you can do a t stop with lightly added pressure, or bcuz fibers have a lot more slip to them you can slide into a stop without picking up your feet at all! There's quite a few ways you can go about it!😊
