- "Open Letter to You" is dedicated to the memory of all our loved ones and to the hearts that hold them sacred.
This video, produced by Jesse Jones of Nightsong Studios, illustrates beautifully what is unquestionably the most intimate and heartfelt song released by Tuatha Dea to date. Written as a personal note and expression of love for the loss of someone special, the band recognized it's universal message and opted to record it while working at Lakeside Studios with Travis Wyrick to share with anyone who had ever experienced loss and not had the chance to say the things they would have, should have or wanted to. In 2020 Dave Maggard of Sound Biscuit Produced an amazing remixed version before having this labor of love mastered by Grammy Winning Paul Blakemore. All culminating in this Heartfelt accompaniment to the astounding visual art of Jesse Jones.
We are honored to share this personal message of love with all who need it or wish to send it. You've got mail.
I lost my best friend and younger brother last March 2023.... We saw You all in Bradenton, Florida this past October and when You did this one I just was overcome by the shear emotion of just how much the words in this Song is done straight from the Heart..... Thank You all for helping me to remember my brother in this way. It meant a lot ❤❤❤❤❤

Hello all, I just discovered you guys yesterday literally and I must say you guys are such a very unique band. 1 in a million. Thats an understatement, I should say 1 in all that have their own style with many influences producing masterpieces. Love it so much. Big fan from California. My husband passed a month ago (Exactly - on the 18th) and I hadn't yet cried. Of course I feel sad, grief, etc, but no crying. Played this about 4 times today and cried finally. I needed to. Thank you.
Went home, Wednesday, stopped off at Wilhite's (named something else now) went back in time. Shirley was the best, I remember going into the restaurant late at night broke, she would always feed me, I miss her. Love you my brother. Great song. But you know I have always been one of your biggest fans. Much love and respect.

My mom passed in April, and this really hit home. I felt regretful as she was passing on but also so full of love for our relationship. There are so many things I wish I could have changed, but in her last days, none of that mattered to her. I honestly don't think they ever did. The first thing she said to me when I entered her room was, "My baby is here. My sweet baby is here." A mother is a treasure, and I am so happy that I could be there with her.

Well, I cried the first time I heard this in Decatur, TX. I thought I could listen to it today without crying but....no such luck. Still one of the most haunting, beautiful, rich, meaningful songs I have ever heard. Katherine's voice still mesmerizes me; the harmony she and Becca create...well there is nothing like it! Thank you for touching what I cannot put to words. I lost my father just 2 weeks ago today. Today is my baby brother's birthday (49) and a week from today is mine (59). I count how long he's been gone by the Saturdays. The song is heart touching and so soulfull

(Trigger warning) So coming up this April 21st will be the 14th year anniversary of my first loves suicide that I witnessed first hand, but after the event I was was traumatized by it to such an emotion state that I never had to chance to go to her funeral nor say goodbye.. n when I finally got to not only see this band live here in Texas but I got to meet them and gift then a thors hammer I carried a long time to get me to a point that I can openly talk about this horrible pain I've carried. N when I met this band they gave the album that this song is one at the very end and I cried like I never have before. And now I this anniversary I'm going to be doing a cord cutting/releasing ritual to let go of the past and sever the ties we once had to set them free and my myself free of that pain that I carried for them when they couldn't anymore n now I can't. But I won't take my life but cut the cuts that holds this pain I hold away so a can finally be free of this and try to learn to live happy and in peace again. Thank you again tuatha dea I love yall so much and again thank you for this beautiful song that not only will I play but also sing to Samantha Greenwood 04-21-1995 to 04-21-2010. May se forever rest in peace and forever her spirit fly free.
