- Mike on the Monkey is back! This time heading from Strontian back to East Lothian. The Monkey Z125 conquers Glen Quaich, rides through Glencoe, along the banks of Loch Tay and all in beautiful Scottish weather.

I have a Puig Bat screen on my Monkey, as it takes the edge off those headwinds. Without it, I just turn into a 20 stone human parachute 🤦🏻♂️😂.
There was a screen I liked by J Max but it doesn't seem to be available here. Does it go a bit faster with your Puig Screen?
@@yodagoat Yep ! It will certainly get up to and maintain higher speeds with it. I’d say I get at least 5 mph gain flat out, maybe more. Extra crucial for us bigger guys to limit the drag we generate.
It suits the bike quite well too without spoiling the looks too much. 👍

Nice one Mike. 👍🏻 How's the wee monkey doing on the salty roads? Any signs of corrosion or paint coming off? We had to do a B&Q BBQ paint job on the Groms engines after all the black paint fell off. 😮
It's not been out in the salt! I seen what happened to other monkeys and Groms and kept it wrapped up in the garage!
We usually get stuck behind Dutch motorhomes doing less than 40 on the Oban/ Fort William stretch. I miss the wee bakery that was in Killin. Last time we were there we noticed a lot of houses for sale and a few shops boarded up.
Normal folk are getting priced out the market these days. Shops and cafes can't afford to employ anyone as housing is so expensive now all the greedy fuckers have bought everywhere to rent out at big bucks.
It's usually rental motorhomes and cars I get stuck behind. 😂
Steady Eddie, 1981 Honda CG125 was my world, as a 17 year old it was my Z1, I was Barry Sheene on it, people paid me a pound for a backie. But I’ll forgive you because another great video Mike, showing size doesn’t matter, it’s the journey that matters 👍👏😜. Been over those moors at Kenmore many a time on many a bike, Goldwing was fun 😅. Monkey seemed perfect 👌
