Thanks . . Loved this interview .. love legendary Elliot Erwitt 💛😎💛👑💫..so real, human, sweet & authentic .. his work shows it.. (IMAO black & white captures the essence without distraction ,)
Another thing. Erwitt just like Winogrand seems amused by some of these questions. Personal Identity? Larger Statements? Themes? - "I just take pictures..."
What a wonderful gem for anybody interested in understanding the approach of masters. My takeaway - EE was not encumbered by intellectualising and adding meaning to the photographs rather content with making photos instinctively. That is such a simple yet enjoyable approach …encourages me to do the same. 😊
He's great, I love his sense of humor: so dry! Here complete lack of recognition just amplified it that much more. I feel like the interview didn't do him justice.
I still believe his work is every bit as good as Bresson’s. He has the ability to tell a story like no other in each photograph. My hero

Very nice to see a real person actually thinking about what is beeing said. Very informative movie. Thank you.
Elliots wit, humor, and compassion for the human condition is just superb.

His work is so good. Thank you. RS. Canada
Love the little intro with the photos and music. And then getting to hear from some of the most prolific photographers of the 20th century.
Thank you for sharing your archive.

06:35 there are self portraits... of yourself - Thank you Barbarelee for clarifying this often misunderstood concept.
I like how he's as witty as his pictures
When smoking in the TV studio was cool.
i love these. she interviews many shooters, and ironically doesn't seem to get it.
For someone known to make comedic images, he doesn't strike me as outrageously funny. An interesting, if downbeat interview. Thanks for sharing.
Wow, he doesn't want to be there . . . and I don't blame him. It feels more like an interrogation than an interview.
Love him, appalled by her. Thank god for his humour.... and immense talent.
My favorite... and so unpretentious.
I wish we could go back to a simpler life!
He is Dry like unused toiletpaper.... i think.
Brilliant Photographer ........
thanks!
