  • Two jigs played on my Pilgrim Celtic Dawn tenor banjo. 'Pull the Knife and Stick it Again' apparently refers to a witch who terrorised Co. Clare. If you somehow managed to stab her, she would beg you to pull out the knife and stab her again to finish her off, but the second stab would actually save her.
    Wi' a Hundred Pipers commemorates Bonnie Prince Charlie marching into Carlise upon their surrender during the Jacobite Rebellion of 1745, with a hundred pipers marching before him.

    Another tune for me to learn!! Nicely done! I have an open back version of your Pilgrim banjo and I like it better than my 1980's vintage Gibson TB-250 tenor banjo. Heck of a lot of banjo for the money!
