One Quick Question Please: I could not figure out how to have it set to "In-Stream Ad" only 😕! I did not let it stop me from submitting the Ads for review. I was just wondering if a change occurred where you can no longer set your ads to "In-Stream Only? Also, what are your thoughts on "Responsive Video Ad"? Sorry for the long rant 🙈
I'm not a fan of the "responsive videos".... Anytime Google combines ad placements I try to work around it b/c I want to know the exact placements that are working....
As for the in-stream issue I don't know why you would not be able to see that option in your account. We are working on a 2024 update (not that helps now).

Google is trying to help with the campaign setup - it's just them pre-configuring settings. I like custom b/c it gives you full control
Hey Jason, would love to know your opinion about placement targeting.
It doesn't work very well anymore. Google really wants us to use the audiences it creates sadly. It's worth a try but the results we've seen are quite inconsistant.

"Tracking" is setting up your Google ads remarketing tag... Sorry I don't have a current vid on how to do that.

Yes. I worked for an agency for a little over a year before going solo. The amount of experience you get is so valuable and you'll get to focus on learning - 80% of freelancing is just getting clients

This is the most upto date tutorial we have. The only difference for getting subs would be running in-feed instead of in-stream... 2024 is in the works!

I like CPA after I've run CPC for a while. I like to know which audiences are working in terms of engagement and clicks. We still track the conversions, but I'm not looking at those to start.

Did something change recently? I see NOTHING like time stamp 1:19. I will not let me opt out and get to ads manager, it is making me set up a campaign??? Is there a new way to get into ads manager dashboard in 2024?
Google is constantly changing these interfaces so I'm sorry that is not appearing for you... Just quickly create a campaign and pause it so you can take your time going through the interface
question: When my youtube channel shows views in youtube studio, will that be the people who watched over 30 seconds or anyone that saw the first 5 seconds?
Studio will show you all the views, not just those who made it 30 seconds

When ads violate the terms of service multiple times, accounts can and will be bandded. Google doesn't want videos advertised that are against their terms of service

For growing a channel, $300 - $750 is pretty good. For selling products/services $1,500 is still enough to do some good testing with
