Not-Kruber interrupting Not-Kerillian at the end is gold
Some things never change.
Not sure how I missed that in the trailers; guess Kruber moved up in the wor-I mean galaxy.
neither have vermintide VAs, morrow sure as shit sounds like em though
@@Pred. yeah, that's Kruber's VA.
i heard bardin on an ogryn and victor and i think i heard kerillian on a zealot...i would never have guessed that this are kruber and kerillian
To me this is a big nod to the fact that we'll be getting a ratling character somewhen in the future
I'm hoping for that
I am hoping for a felinid or squat character also!
The fact that there’s voice lines about ratlings is exactly what makes me think we won’t get a rattling class.
Vermintide 2 has voicelines about Gelt, Settta, Orks, Ogres etc. to make up for the fact that will never see those in game.
@@sbraypaynt gelt, settra are all main characters within the fantasy lore and that point during the end times either dead or simply gtfo of dodge.
So yeah we were never going to get them. Ratlings however are a lot more feasible and realistic to include in the setting
@@MrTheGameNarrator I’m aware of that but it just seems like they wouldn’t talk about them if they were planning to release them otherwise they’d have to discontinue those voicelines once the ratling class gets added.
Ratling and Skitarri are what I’m hoping get added. I need a bat shit Mechanicus.
Now, do you mean post-tabletop “fast and ranged fighters” skitari or do you mean pre-tabletop “will wrestle a Genestealer while high on every drug and win” skitari?
@@natalie6811 Latter
You might be onto something, I was theorizing it could either be Skitarri or Votann, but , given the setting, having a ratling character class would be a great excuse for fatshark to have a character with a dwarfish camera height.
@@natalie6811
Since skitarii aren’t really standardized (and what we got on tabletop is mostly just one aspect of how a skitarii army might look like), the drug fueled monstrosities might still be very canon
@@KalashVodka175 Oh no, the drug-fueled monstrousities are definitely still canon, I just meant it in a “there’s two archetypes and they are both massively different from each other” kind of way and wanted some clarification.
Ogryn and ratings should get along considering ratlings make some emperor good stew. Throne I get hungry just thinking about it!
Mmmm... stew
..........Just Don't ask them what the ingredients are.
Aslomg as they stop stealing my damn orders and resupply form I don't mind them
In the lore, they do. Not quite so well as ogres and halflings in the Old World lore but in 40K the two are part of the abhuman auxilia and have many more chances to meet.
@@christianclark347 In Fantasy, it gets to the point where they tease that ogres and halflings might be somehow descended from the same lineage.
A personal favourite line regarding Ratlings is from Ogryns:
“KICKED ONE SO ‘ARD, DIDN’T SEE IT LAND”
Fatshark is definitely teasing us with ratlings as playable characters. I would also like to see beastmen too ngl.
I REALLY WANT beastmen too, but they got ditched by the imperium early on and they fell to chaos
@@CourtlySeaDog not all of them, they still have abhuman status, it's just that they're near to the point losing that status. But overall there are still some still loyal to the imperium.
@@CourtlySeaDog
They're still around but the ULTRA rascism and discrimination of the Imperium (shocking I know..) basically puts them in very serious risk of genocide and they may already be in the process of wiping them out slowly sadly.
Maybe a skitarri ranger can join.
@@franciscorui kinda doubt it, a punishment for a skitarri would most likely be turned into a servitor.
when they do give us a Ratling, they better give the Ogyrn a throw ability 😂
"The Codex Astartes names this manoeuvre as The Fastball Special"
I suspect that there will be a ratling dlc in the future
Really hoping all this is pointing to us getting Ratlings later. I’d love to get Beastmen too, maybe even Imperial Squats.
Aren't Beastmen also Chaos in 40K?
@@XaldirGodofGood They're just mutated humans, but most tend to get pushed to chaos anyways but don't have to align with choas
My four most-wanted new classes:
1. Tech Adept, not a skitarii or full techpriest but with special weapons and servo skulls and stuff
2. Kroot Mercenary, first actual xenos in the game with a wide variety of Tau weapon types and build options to be strong like an ogryn or shooty like a vet
3. Ratling Sniper, can be the first class with actual sniper weapons and scopes
4. Death Cultist, can be like a more extreme zealot with the option of two different melee weapons sort of like Grail Knight in VT2
Man I love that some of my friends’ first taste of 40k is this game solely to see them look insanely confused at lines like these
If these Ratlings do come up as a playable character, imma name mine Pusfume definitely 🙏
Heard ratling and my Bardin senses started tingling
Ratling and techpriest are my 2 most wanted additions
Squats 😢
If they ever make new class DLC I can bet you Ratlings will be up on the list.
i just hope they dont limit this game to the 4 classes and chao cultists, genestealer cults would also fit well, separate of course they wouldnt work together
They said they wanted to add more classes at launch but due to time constraint they will have to delay classes to every quarter
We need a Ratling and a Squat
I mean, they wouldn't drop this line in unless Ratlings were at least on the discussion table at Fatshark.
Now we need a Ratling class with an exclusive "Mutant" body type for Vermintide 2 owners
Missed one of the Ogryn lines about punting one farther than he could see, which i found hilarious as my Ogryn saying it is named Punt so I feel it fit his background perfectly.
probably the first new class after release
ratling and beastmen would be interesting additions to this game, but we will see
What a great cast!
This is either the biggest hint, or the biggest 'sike you thought'.
I really want to see some hrud in the game, that'd be great as a dlc and as a way to slowly introduce the faction. All hell breaks loose when the hrud decide to migrate.
Ratling Snipers when?
I love the German psyker
We were never given a big guy in vermintide, so maybe this is our chance to have a game with a big guy and little guy.
I just got all my character to level 30, dont tell me i have to start another one
Ok, I definitely would love to see ratlings in Darktide (and maybe a beastman or something)
To note:
Ratlings in the W40K universe aren't rats, sadly. They're more on the line of being Hobbits, though with the cheery British countryside attitude replaced with a thugish, London Highwayman demeanor.
There is no solid account of rat people or Skaven in W40K....yet.
There is - check Necromunda
@@user-le8wr4yz6q ah necromunda, the only place where tribal ratskins, stc gear wielding hive gangers, eviscerator wielding zealots, zombies and boatloads of arbites all coexist in some fucked up cacophony
They're called hrud, half of them are rat like, half of them are bug like, and they all live underneath hives.
Rebellion? Games Workshop? Listen here: Sniper Elite WH40K as a Ratling Sniper!
Do that!
Finally it’s released?
Pocket snipers.
'ey boiz! W'at if we put grotz in our poketz to get mor dakka t'at vay?
@@tdpuuhailee8222
Now...datz *"BIG th'nkin"* rioght der I tails yah!
Would also accept something Ad mech.
I know he's not a ratling but if I get to make one I'm naming him Nubby Nubs.
Ratling class confirmed
Around Ratlings, never relax.
0:02 Is ThIs A jOjO rEfErEnCe?
ratlings, confirmed
Ratling class update NOW
Half the comments: ratling confirmed!
Me: hey zealot, people stuck with us shouldn’t talk smack about wayward morals.
I could see ratlings as an alternative career to the ogryn
ratlings? but we killed hordes of them in vermintide O.o :P
(I know what ratlings are, internet)
Ratlings in 40k are basically halflings or hobbits, just tiny and hairy, but still men and women
To the people who think this is a nod to vermintide ratling gunners. it ain't. Ratlings are the hobbits in 40k.
Ratling confrimed 5th class
Ratling DLC when?
would love seeing a ratling, also a battle sister would be cool.
Guys in 40K rattlings is a derogatory term for squats
@@coywarrior71 Nope its the term for a 40k version of a halfling. A Squat is a 'space dwarf'. Ratling snipers were the first Imperial Guard minis I bought, Can't wait to see them in a game.
@@coywarrior71 Theyre different, squats is the derogatory name for the kin, that what they call the space dwarfs now
@@coywarrior71 this guy doesn't know what rattlings are
ffs morrow... an expert of interrupting quotes
skaven - rattling race class confirmed
Sadly, Ratlings aren't skaven in space. They are the 40k version of fantasy Hobbits/Halflings.
Ah...so racism/subspecies-ism(?) mostly eh?
They're abhumans so it's mutant prejudice
It isn’t unfounded though…
If you'd met a ratling you'd be saying the same thing.
Your point being?
@@thegyroneer32
Humans do plenty of thievery, heck there's entire societies of them that do thievery. Does it then make sense to claim all humans are thieves?
Your video-editing and quality need some major work.
"I hope we can play as beastmen and ratlings and skitarii and I hope we get to fight necrons and gene stealers and Chaos marine legions"
Please stop this nonsense lol. I know it's exciting to get another FPS 40k game, but look at the context here.
First of all, it's a prison ship. Why would there be those groups when
A) They're far rarer than a typical human. Abhumans are maybe 1% of the population of the imperium at best. It would immersive breaking having them as almost half the population of the ship.
B) Most would be killed or scrapped outright if they misbehaved. It's already a big stretch of the imagination that there'd be so many psykers and ogryns, you're out of your mind if you think beastmen would be as common. The inquisition is far more likely to execute them outright than imprison them.
Secondly, the enemies:
You want squads of plain old Imperial Guard to go up against enemies that give Space Marines a challenge as a regular encounter? Nah.
That's in addition to having all these enemy factions on one planet. At that point they would need to either call in stronger forces or just blow that shit up, they wouldn't be relying on prisoners anymore
