In this video we explored some of the places surrounding Mandalay. First we visited Mingun (Min Kun) by boat and visited some incredible pagodas. Later on we went to the famous U Bein bridge to catch an amazing sunset.

We did a massive trip by scooter around there. It was amazing, we came across a huge Buddhist celebration for some kind of children coming of age celebration. They were all dressed as princesses and princes and riding in done up carriages with elephants and camels in between. It was so big we stopped and had a coffee with some locals and had just enjoyed the experience.
Oh yes it's the Burmese "Bah mitzvah" or grown up sons entering monk hood.
Thoroughly enjoyed your Myanmar trip. It was so peaceful and spiritual. Loved all of it.

I did a boat ride on the river in Bagan and it was amazing no other tourists. Burma had some of the best sunsets I've ever seen.

@@JumpingPlaces yeah 3 times I'm a bit addicted to asia. Only big countries I've not done really in asia are Pakitsn Korea and China. I prefer the warmer countries as well. Hopefully going to do a bit of central america and Mexico at the end of year though before flying to Asia again.
Mexico is one of the best man, amazing food, beaches and history and can be done pretty damn cheap if required also. One of our favorite places
South east asia definitely does have a unique vibe though, going to be a place we keep coming back to a lot i am sure. What is your favorite place here
@@JumpingPlaces Yeah I'm looking forward to doing something new and Guatemala looks really fun as well. I'm doing it with a mate as well so staying in hotels.
My favourite country use to be thailand I've travelled everywhere there. Getting so expensive and touristy now though and I loved burma and the Philippines more on my last trip. Philippines has amazing scuba diving compared to Thailand especially in bohol and siquijor.

Another great video. I just wanted to pass along that I’ve watched a few videos with another couple getting started on UA-cam (you guys are ‘established’ compared to them), who are Australian/Canadian, Chris & Laura (another Chris) who use musicbed.com and they’ve got some cool stuff on there. They also had an interesting video in Bogota, Colombia where they talked about what it’s like being together all the time traveling long term as a couple which I thought you might find interesting.
