I’ve been waiting all day waiting to get out of work so I can watch….and it didn’t disappoint!!! I absolutely love that TD2 of yours Craig! So smooth around the racetrack and jumped real nice! Awesome content my friend, thanks for sharing!😊👍
Hey there Jeremy 👋🏻 glad you enjoyed the TD2!! It is a wonderful buggy and deserved to take the lap record for the Orchard Raceway. Question is does it have anything left in the tank for the finale?? Thanks for watching dude 👍🏻🙌🏻
Man, you called that one! That thing really had gobs of traction, and the power to shoot it out of the turns and still maintain its posture! Great run with this Craig. Wicked fun it was!🤩🤘🏻👊🏼🍻😃
Hey Glenn, thanks for stopping by friend 👍🏻🙌🏻 This is a blooming marvellous RC and I am looking forward to seeing how it goes against the TT02B (which I know you like) and the DT-03. We have some more beautiful RCs ready to take in next season including the Schumacher Cougar Classic 🔥🔥
Hey Rex, still some editing to do on the comparisons of the hottest laps but this one was off the chart. Nothing gets close to it… except for that 6.69 unofficial TT-02b lap…. It is going to be a very interesting finale!!! Thanks for watching brother 👍🏻🙌🏻
Wow Craig!!! I'm not sure if it needs "more" motor. The TD2 really set the bar high mate!!!! AWESOME JOB my friend, your driving is getting better and what a way to get better than on a tight, narrow track, LOVE IT!!!!!
Hey Bob 👋🏻 My driving is getting better and it will be interesting to see how much better I do with the DT-03 and the TT-02b in a few weeks time. Will the TD2 hold on?? Thanks for watching buddy 👍🏻🙌🏻
Awesome run indeed! I have a feeling the TD-2 is going to remain on top for some time.😊👍 Goes to show Tamiya is on point with these new chassis designs. 👏
It is going to be up there year on year I think! Question is can it hold of the competition in the grand finale?? The DT-03 is competitive and the TT-02 did go faster?? All to play for 😎😁 Thanks for watching 👍🏻🙌🏻
Hi Craig, the TD2 didn't disappoint! It looked really planted and took that jump so smoothly. I could tell how excited you were when you got that fastest lap, a crash was inevitable thereafter! I know I would be exactly the same! Great fun as the videos in this series have been so far, I'm sure the next runs will be as entertaining, if only a little slower, maybe?!?!?! Anyway, all the best and a great weekend to you, mate. :O)
Hey Mark, thanks for watching my friend 👍🏻🙌🏻 Yes in typical OAG fashion the fastest must be followed by a shocker 🤣😂 This car though is awesome! Consistency, handling, jump ability… it is the full package. I think you will be surprised by the next few out the gate though 🤔😎
Yey! TD2 on top of the pile :) looked good out there, I’ve done a few races with mine as well but on carpet tracks. I know I keep mention things but it looks way to high you could get the clearance down to 16mm and that will make it roll less through the corners as your cog will be lower and it will drive better through that change alone. Cool video love that buggy
Hey Andy 👋🏻 Thanks for watching and enjoying the series 👍🏻🙌🏻 The TD2 was always going to be number one wasn’t it! How do I adjust the ride height?? I want to keep these changes for future runs 😎😁 and I am always ears for suggestions matey 👍🏻
Hi there Craig, I think you’re right! Awesome! And I can see you were getting a bit excited as you were hearing the lap times were going lower, I definitely think you can go faster with this one. I think over powering will not be the answer. I think, turning down the volume of the timing device, that way, I think your concentration will be focused on driving the lap. I think the sticker No. 1. as they do in F1, is the fitting marking, for the faster winner of the series. Enjoyed very much again. Take care and best wishes to you and the family 😉😁😊
Hey John, thanks for your lovely comments. The timer does play a part but I enjoy hearing the times drop as I go 😂🤣 I have a season rewards coming at the end of the year and I have decided to write 2022 and the award on each body shell. End of the day they are mine so they deserve to wear their badges of honour 🏅🎖Who will win though??
@@theoagrc Hi Craig, well we are all going to have to wait and see for the Seasons rewards 2022. It’s a hard one to call, the speed and agility would goto the TD2, and in the normal thought process, I’d be placing my money on the TD4, however, I’m going for the TT-02B, my thought process being it’s consistency. I’ve a feeling it’s predictable characteristics is going to pinch the top spot back, it’ll be close though. Take care and best wishes 😉😊😊
It is going to be tight. I think the DT-03 has a lap in it though! I have changed to the wheel transmitter for that car too and I think it will be faster on the wheel. Filming starts next week!! 📽📹
Thanks for watching pal 👍🏻🙌🏻 It is a tricky track to drive consistently due to how narrow it is in sections. Need to plan for a slightly wider section for 2024!
Hey Mattias 👋🏻 It was most excellent and I think a torque tuned would send it sub 6.5 if I am honest. It was fast but most importantly for me consistent. I think it is going to take some beating going forward but it will be down to the finale to decide who reins supreme 🔥🔥
Hello! I just built my TD2 and was running in my backyard track, and on every jump, it nose dives so badly... And blipping throttle wont help. Most of my RCs fly through the same jumps just fine. How's yours? I see a little nose dive after thay small jump. I built mine completely stock, but I think I need to reduce shock piston holes in the rear to give more dampening, as these 3hole pistons are too underdampened, even with the Tamiya's heavy oil in the kit (90wt). Rear probably slaps the jump and then it springs back up, sending rear end up and front down.
Hey bud, my jump in pretty flat (built for all the RCs) and I have not had any issues with the TD2. It jumps great and I was considering adding some weight in the front as I suffered with quite a bit of under steer in the finale. I have found the car on the whole to be incredible. It drives consistently and other than the little bit on under steer it is a beast.
I’ve been waiting all day waiting to get out of work so I can watch….and it didn’t disappoint!!!

Hey Robbie 👋🏻 Thanks for watching bud and yes you sum it up perfectly… it was wicked awesome 😎 The car is a dream out the turns.
Fantastic looking buggy, handles really well also, love it👌😀😀👍
👋🏻 thanks for watching 👍🏻🙌🏻 It is a really hot buggy. Can’t compare it to other top Tamiya buggies yet but it certainly goes well 🔥
That was awesome, I really enjoyed that. Love your enthusiasm 🤩👊🏻

I loved the “awesome” bit where you noticed the wing lol. Awesome run!! Lets gooo with the full comparison cant wait for end of season

Great stuff and it edges me closer to buying that buggy . It’s so awesome 👍👍
Hey Dom, I say do it!! Fab buggy and worth every penny in my opinion. Let’s see if it wins in the finale??

Well that jumps awesome
It is very stable in the air for sure 🔥 Thanks for watching Paul 👍🏻🙌🏻
Awesome Craig. Tamiya creared a great car straight out of the box. I'm curious how it'll performe with a bigger motor😉
Hey Dirk, thanks for watching 👍🏻🙌🏻 We need to wait until it is at the bottom of the finale before we see that 🤣😂 Until then it is the Champ 😎🔥

Yeah new car on the throne. If it runs that good with just a silvercan i wonder what it can do with lets say a Dirt tuned or Gt-tuned motor.

Really fast... especially for 2WD!

You should do it again with a slipper clutch and see if there's any difference in the times then.
We have to wait until the TD2 needs a hop up
Wish you had a td-4 to compare it to.
One day Brad. It is on the list but at the price point I really fancy a Kyosho 4wd. Thanks for watching dude 👍🏻🙌🏻
I think your track is very narrow too that also causes you problems.
It is what we have!
