    Anyone who goes portable is a friend of mine. Nice little outing. I used to live in England, so I know all about the bad weather there. We never let it stop us much, though. I subscribed. 73

    Really nice video. Satis longa vita for qrp :-) The 817 is kind of a classic radio. I have one myself and won't give it away even though I am using my KX2 and TX-500 more often. What I really like, is that english hams (on youtube at least) always have a cup of tea with them :-) 73, Stephan, DF6PA

      Hi Simon The antenna is a three band dipole band hopper from sotabeams, No atu needed.
      It's good fun running qrp. Best 73
