Omg amaziiiin🔥 the song is more about drugs and addiction:) he’s talkin about how he just wanted to try it for once and he did it again and again therefore he got addicted and that leaded him into depression and wanted to suicide:) but gladly he’s a different person nowww❤️

Its about heroin and the addiction he used to have to it. Like when he says this has got the best of me and I can't seem to sleep, is because when going through withdrawals it keeps you from falling asleep as well as extremely sick.
