- The Bexar County Sheriff’s Office has changed its process for accepting outside resources at scenes after footage captured by KSAT showed a convicted sex offender standing with deputies in a city park as authorities searched for a missing mother and her son this spring.
Ok, if a sex offender can't be in a park, what are they doing out on the streets?

Prisons and jails are overflowing in Texas. They let them out because its considered a "lesser evil" to make room for possible "worse evils". Texas prisons have become big business.

What's he doing even assisting? The organization he said he is with just is a support organization, giving physical (food, drinks, rest areas, etc), moral and emotional support to those actually doing the work, not doing anything else.

Bexar County Sheriff's Office is no stranger to bad press. They seem to have very low training and recruitment standards, and I have seen some cases where they have managed to generate pretty big lawsuits because of their incompetence and ignorance of the law.
They are all incompetent until we need them huh?

So that violate there terms should go back to prison and serve all sentence they got in the first place you get a traffic ticket show up 1 minute late for parole meeting or so registration you go straight back and you were already given a chance when you were put probation instead serving your jail time if law is not enforced what's point of having them so should have to wear something while in public to let people know watch this guy or lady

@ScarletAdhesive I have better judgement skills than all of you. It's bcso fault that a previous sex offender was on the task force looking for a child that was dead already. If this guy did his time for his previous crime and was labeled a sex offender then what is wrong with him working now. So what if he was looking for a kid wasn't that the job given.
