LETTING A DICE CONTROL OUR LIVES FOR 24 HOURS

- Special thanks to @newbalance for challenging us, letting us take their athlete on an adventure, and being great sports along the way. #NBHeat
One of the most uncomfortable things you can do is let an inanimate object control your life. It's all based on randomness, and that's the reason we chose a dice. Ammar and Thomas got to take along New Balance Lacrosse star, Trevor Baptiste, while Matt spent time in Trevor's world as a lacrosse player. Along the way of course, strangers became a part of the whole adventure. Enjoy!

Bro the stranger looked so stressed and happy at the same time
Where are all the replies
2 years and still no more than 1 reply
I cry every time I watch that scene
Once i had experience that feeling, and it's so overwhelming! i'm not dissapointed tho it was fun! I bet this stranger, feeling greatful to come :)
The shift in him where he's looking terrified, then being able to enjoy the scene later... I'm soft 🤧
Seeing that purely helpless, overcoming of fear and self-realization of the Asian kid was a mood.
That Asian guy was shaking the whole time lmao
"when you think people are judging you, but they dont really care"
that's a quote to live with
yeah and I badly need this qoute
Yeah. I mean most people have enough shit going on in their own lives, to not care about what you do, so why worry about what they think?
Chances are they don't think much about you at all. :)
Teacher: WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN!
Student: Oh I was just out with some strangers on a helicopter with no doors.
lol 😂 that’s probably what happened
That helicopter scene was litterally the most motivational, inspiring and beautiful thing i've ever seen. The way this guy reacted was just so pure. Please do something more for this guy or with this guy, because this was just so special. wow.
The tears in his eyes while he looks out at New York, high up in the air, it felt like a really intimate display of human emotion.
That guy's expressions at the end watching him overcome his fears is the great thing! That's the face of 'seeking discomfort = PURE JOY'. Wow. So inspiring. *happy tears*
Christina Chico couldnt have said it better myself
I have a fear of talking to cute girls. Hi.
The guy who went in the helicopter was the first guy I’ve seen on this channel who looked like he was hitting his greatest discomfort zone! I cried watching his facial expressions throughout his journey!

his face was...priceless. You could tell he was amazed, terrified, excited, having fun and taking it all in!
I believe the term for his facial expression is Mesmerified (Mesmerized+Terrified) :P

I cried watching that college kid in the heli it was such a beautiful moment!
Me as well
Imagine that dude after ditching class
His friends “dude where were you”
Him “oh yea I just went on a heli nothing much bro”
i cried so much seeing his hesitation and extreme nervousness but then he built up the courage to put his legs out of the "doors" and i've never been more proud of a stranger in my life. definitely will be seeking more uncomfortable and *literally* breathtaking experiences more often.

Dear Yes Theory.

11:00 And onward, in my opinion, is the most beautiful and inspirational moment Yes Theory has yet to have produced.
This man just left his friends to go to class while he went on a helicopter
Let’s be honest the guy was probably an actor like who would be like “ oh I Hate Heights” to some stranger and who would also agree to go on a car ride and a helicopter ride with strangers for all he knows they could have kidnapped him. I still enjoy the channel though

I love this video. My Platoon Sergeant in the Army has a dice that was lovingly named the Pain Dice. Its a 10 sided die that has various workouts on it. You were required to roll it upon your first sighting of him in that day. The exercise was anything from 101 pushups (101st Airborne) to hitting the ropes. It started as an annoyance, but quickly became a fun, healthy and exciting quirk to the day.
Hey I doubt you guys will read this, but I just wanted to tell you that you guys have inspired me to move to a new school. This video honestly is one of the most beautiful thing you guys created, it’s how you guys create instant friendship and memories these strangers. You make them happy and help people seek their own discomfort that puts a smile on my face.
Being afraid of heights, I envy this guy. He's gonna have a memory for the rest of his life how he beat his fear. Good job, guys. Absolutely love it.
It is beautiful to me when they do stuff like that with strangers and act like they have been friends for so many years... I always get emotional.
That other dude y'all took on the helicopter ride must have had a roller-coaster of emotions. You could see it all in his face! 😆
SpaceFlye ikr 😂
I don't think i could ever seek discomfort, my whole life i've been avoiding adventures, but i'm happy they're doing this and it's inspiring other people like me to just try and seek discomfort, even tho there are a lot bad things in this world, you should concentrate on those good things... I've watched one of their videos and i went for a walk, there was this project about flooding and it was on this big panel, i walk pass by it and said out loud: "why do people see only bad things on this world?" and someone agreed with me right away, we are now friends... I really like watching Yes Theory they make my life more positive, they made me look more positively on the everything around me... ( sorry about my broken english guys, but i really needed to day this)...
What these guys are doing is pretty extreme. I guess because they are now used to doing all kinds of crazy things. The point is, you don't have to do extreme things to get out of your comfort zone. Discomfort looks different for everyone. You probably do seek discomfort and don't even realize it. Sometimes just getting out of the house makes me feel uncomfortable but that shouldn't stop me.
Daan that’s sad if you can’t go outside
@@danethenice Yea i see, that can be fixed. I'm an introverted person, so i don't like going outside neither, and i know that i don't seek discomfort cause i stick to my daily routine... but i really want to... I just don't know how to...
@@user-vv5en9mg6v Usually when I feel like that I go anyway and it's not even a problem.
@@jovanajovanovic9208 there are so many ways to seek discomfort. You probably want to do it in a way that benefits you as well. Could be trying out a new sport, learning to play guitar, traveling, taking cold showers, or even just getting out of the house. Just start small and stay positive.
Trevors transformation was awesome. He really tapped into such a joyful side of himself more and more throughout the day. Awesome

Hey Yes Theory,
I really enjoy your videos, they are like the best videos I watch, but one thing that disturbs me is that I am brazilian and I don't unsderstand a lot of what you are saying (and automatic captions are horrible).
Could you please put captions on your videos? Not just me but I think this would help a lot of your fans by the world. Thanks and keep the awesome work.
Like for them to see this.
It's a great way to practice understanding English.
If you go on the options > subtitles/CC > add subtitles/CC and then choose english someone has probably finished subtitles but YesTheory hasn't approved it yet.
Man just watch more english video so you can learn english, I'm a Filipino too far in english lands.
This is also really helpful for people who are hard of hearing or deaf.
I want to show my chinese students as well and it may be difficult to understand but the lessons they teach are such valuable lessons!
I always enjoy the videos/challenges y’all post. But on this certain challenge as I sit and watch it I found myself overwhelmed with joy for the two guys terrified of heights sitting in a doorless helicopter. You wouldn’t of ever known they were scared of heights, and all because they went out and seeked discomfort. It gave me a new outlook I hope it can for others! Thanks fellas!!!

I just recently discovered it and I feel so inspired and full of love and faith in humanity every single time I watch one of your videos.
