Where moon clips shine in these J Frame revolvers is in helping with positive extraction. I don't find them overly helpful in loading, but with the J Frame's short extractor rod, it gets the empties out in a hurry.

You can take two moon clips and place them inside of each other one facing up one facing down interlocking them and it takes up a whole lot less room and protects them from bending I've carried them in my pocket for over 4 years without any getting damaged it works well

I'm liking this gun a lot more than I thought I would. I know a lot of people say this type of gun isn't one you'll take to the range and put 200 rounds through just for fun, but I could easily see doing just that. I think it's the challenge in shooting this small, lightweight gun well.

My buddy JunkFoodZombie has the SP101 2 inch model. It's a nice gun for sure. But the whole, entire point of getting this 442 is lightweight, easy carry. However, if I ever get a bigger revolver in a bigger caliber it most likely will be a Ruger since they don't have those stupid frame locks like S&W uses on most of their guns.

Horse Rider I have both and carry my 442 9x’s out of 10. It’s far more comfortable to carry.
