Curious as to what the issue was that necessitated removing the pump. I am about to endeavour to replace/rebuild mine. The engine started, ran for a few seconds then died and will not restart. All filters replace, fuel lines as well and bled but no joy. Seems to be a low pressure issue.
Hey Steve! When performing a compression test I accidentally messed up the timing of the pump. I brought it to a shop to have the timing re-calibrated. If you move the nut that sits below the fuel injection tube nuts on the pump you can throw off the timing! Reason for compression test was lots of white smoke in the exhaust. Compression was good and when I put everything back together the smoke was gone 🤷♂️
